2015 Internship Opportunity - Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival
2015 Internship Opportunity Thumper Entertainment produces the annual Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival. Our goal is to educate and cultivate union among people of differing cultural backgrounds. 2014 proved to be an exciting year as our second year in Stephens Lake Park and the opportunity to make general improvements to the fan experience. The Festival attracted 27,250 fans and received national & international attention from artists and the media. Fans traveled in from 43 states, Australia, Canada, Japan, and Sweden for this fun, true and unique celebration of music, food and culture. We’ll be bringing 12 interns on board for the opportunity to be a part of these awesome events. Students will start in February with 2-‐4 office hours per week. Once school is out, interns will work 8-‐10 office hours per week from mid-‐May through the festival in September. Post festival, 2-‐4 hours of work a week is required until the end of October. Some additional work outside the office is also required, both at home and out in the community for promotion and events. The summer months are our busiest time of year leading up to the festival; it is a requirement that all Thumper Interns reside in Columbia for the summer. This is an unpaid internship, however, students are eligible for college credit. Please submit your resume to Thumper Entertainment no later than January 23, 2015 for consideration.
