Annual Report - The Church on Rush Creek
THE CHURCH ON RUSH CREEK
2015/2016
“Every number has a name.
Every name has story.
Every story matters to God.”
Dear Rush Creeker,
This is one of our favorite times of the year as we look back and see all that God
has done in and through the people of Rush Creek. We realize that numbers
aren’t everything, but behind every number is a powerful story of someone
becoming more like Jesus or being Jesus to the overwhelmed, under-resourced,
or far away.
We want to thank you for being a part of the story God is telling through Rush
Creek. Your generous investment of time and resources along with the
faithfulness of God has allowed 2014 to be one of our best years ever. We would
ask you to take a few minutes and look through the report. We believe what you
see will encourage and inspire you to continue being faithful to the mission God
has for us.
It’s incredibly fulfilling to be a part of something that is guaranteed to outlast us.
Thanks again for your commitment to making an eternal difference. Jesus is
building His church. It’s an honor to serve Him together with you.

MISSION STATEMENT
To help people far from God become contagious followers of Christ.
VISION STATEMENT
We want to become more like Jesus so that we can be Jesus
to the overwhelmed, the under-resourced and the far away.
CHURCH WIDE EVENTS
EASTER PICNIC:
On the Saturday before Easter, each campus hosts an annual Easter
picnic at a local school. The picnic is a great time to bring your neighbors
and a picnic lunch and let your kids play! We provide the space, the
games and an old fashioned Easter egg hunt!
SHREEK ON THE CREEK:
Each year at Halloween, we host an alternative to Halloween for you,
your family and your friends. We go all-out with games, food and lots of
fun for everyone in a family safe environment.

MEMBERS
Along with all of the new people who joined a group, our LifeGroup Coaching Team
doubled, we have a new facilitator-friendly curriculum and we are hearing great stories
each week where God moved in the hearts of people in LifeGroups!
WORSHIP
GREEN OAKS: We tripled our volunteer leadership and developed a rotation of
gifted musicians and singers.
EN ESPANOL?: We now have Spanish translation devices available at the Green
Oaks campus each week for those whose primary language is Spanish!
MIRA LAGOS: We continue to see momentum and growth, completing our first
full year in three services with a 11% increase in average worship attendance. In order
to make space for new families, two portable buildings were added to our campus this
year.
MANSFIELD WEST: This year, as we settled into our new home, we upgraded
our audio and video equipment in the worship center and added a new children’s
worship space! Our attendance, worship team and volunteer base have all grown!
