National South Asian Summit 2015
Call for Volunteers
SAALT IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE A CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS FOR THE
NATIONAL SOUTH ASIAN SUMMIT 2015.
DEADLINE: March 31
Join us at the National South Asian Summit 2015 to explore issues affecting South Asians in the U.S.;
build skills to deepen your organization’s work and your individual leadership; connect with government
officials and congressional offices; expand your networks; and strategize with diverse leaders,
advocates, and allies to lift up voices, create change, and claim our power through collective action for
justice.
This year’s theme reflects the growing urgency for diverse South Asian American individuals and families
to lift up our voices and create change through collective action for justice.
Claiming Our Power
Mobilizing diversity. Building vision. Demanding justice.
Why should I volunteer for the Summit?

To participate in the social justice movement for South Asians living in the U.S.

who share your perspectives

To take a peek behind the scenes of a national event and see how it works
