In spite of a couple of resignations, new enrolments have ensured that membership remains fairly stable. However, members are far more interested in the programme of events than any preamble. There has been some interest in Ageless Grace following the last meeting. Fiona Furness, who gave the interesting exercise discussion, requires a minimum of 10/12 persons to form a new group. However, Fiona holds a class at 1500 hours every Monday at Rolling Hills Country Club, and the Committee of Rolling Hills Club has agreed that SAARP members may also attend this class. If you wish to attend please advise Fiona on 083 2585880. Each half-hour session costs R25. We welcome the following new members and hope they will participate in and enjoy the various activities arranged by the Club: Heather Gale, Joan Geils, Denise Irvine, Audri Mortimer, Lynne Murray, Lynette Reed, Mary Schreiber and Jane Young. It has been suggested that it is time to introduce new blood onto the committee; consequently we welcome June Burnett and Toni Farrell, and look forward to their future contributions to the social calendar. Don’t forget that subscriptions for 2015 are now due, viz. R30 for single persons and R50 for a couple. Payment can be made to Hamish MacLeod at any coffee morning, or by cheque made payable to “SAARP Umhlanga Social Club” and posted to The Treasurer, 15 Edgeley Road, Durban North, 4051.
