Announcing the Midnight Tally for BIG Day of Giving 2015!
Sacramento, Calif., (5/6/2015) – “After months of planning for the BIG Day of Giving, and with
the help of countless partners, this community came together to raise $5,614,000* in just 24
hours for 529 local nonprofits – proving once again that generosity is an essential expression of

The five organizations receiving the most donations by midnight were: Placer Land Trust,
B Street Theatre, Capital Public Radio, The First Tee of Greater Sacramento, and Sierra Forever
Families. These, and all participating groups, represent the breadth of nonprofit services that
