Eric Kathenya:
Great!
Eric Kathenya:
I did get the part on referencing organizations...
Lourdes Martinez:

Lourdes Martinez:
Oh no forgot Project!
Jen Cupp:
The email Kaitlin just mentioned:
feedthefuturebranding@usaid.gov
USAID Agrilinks:
Check the poll at the top of the screen!
USAID Agrilinks:
Please answer by clicking the poll buttons.
USAID Agrilinks:
Good job, everyone!
Timothy Close:
My Feed the Future project (Innovation Lab) has
partners in 4 countries. What then?
Timothy Close:
Glad to have all these logos available. Thanks.
Jen Cupp:
Hi Timothy - good question. It depends, but if the four
countries are all in the same region, you could list the
region.
8
www.feedthefuture.gov
Lourdes Martinez:
In the manual there is no orange example for the
logos.
Mark Ohland:
Do you have a pixel-dimensions guideline for use on
websites and other digital communications?
Doreen Hove:
What about existing Feed the Future projects should
they comply?
Adwoa Sey:
Sorry there are breaks in connectivity. I don't know
whether it is from my end.
Eric Kathenya:
Same here Sey.
Kayce Snyder:
I also keep having breaks in connectivity.
Jen Cupp:
Hi Lourdes, we don't produce the logo in orange. The
preferred color is blue and we have green and black
options available as well.
Adwoa Sey:
Ok, Eric.
Amer Fayad:
Audio breaking!
Eric Kathenya:
Misery loves company...
USAID Agrilinks:
Some takeaways: horizontal logo and the color blue
are preferred, while the vertical logo is also approved
as well as the colors green, orange, and black.
Garth Patterson:
Question: my office (FFP) uses Community
Development Funds (CDF) from the Bureau of Food
Security to implement development projects. Are CDF
considered Feed the Future funds? Is any money
from BFS considered Feed the Future funds?
Zack Taylor:
We have an urgent need for a translated tagline. Is
the French ready?
USAID Agrilinks:
New poll open! Answer by clicking above.
Mark Varner:
The blue is hard to distinguish difference for those
that are color blind in that range.
USAID Agrilinks:
Nice job to you all!
9
www.feedthefuture.gov
Jen Cupp:
Hi Doreen - the new branding and naming
requirements don't apply to existing projects UNLESS
OR UNTIL your mechanism is extended on or after
January 1, 2015, for a year or more, with funding. If
that happens, your AOR will work with you to re-name
your project and create a branding and marking plan
that adheres to the Feed the Future Graphic and
Naming Standards Manual.
USAID Agrilinks:
As a reminder, for specific project questions, you can
send questions to this email address for a tailored
response: feedthefuturebranding@usaid.gov
USAID Agrilinks:
Poll time!
USAID Agrilinks:
Vote by pushing the poll buttons.
Katy Heinz:
If the name of my project is 7 words long (plus the
country name), do I have to name the entire project
each time it is written?
Elizabeth Drachman:
Good question Katy! I wonder same.
Lourdes Martinez:
Same over here.
USAID Agrilinks:
We will record this question for the Q&A period.
Thanks.
Katy Heinz:
Thanks.
USAID Agrilinks:
Continue to type questions here and we will note
them.
Brenda Dawson:
Does the color background for the white logo need to
be only a band? Or is it OK if a larger field of the color
is used instead? Also, is full bleed required in all
uses?
Jen Cupp:
Great questions! We're recording a few to discuss at
the end of the webinar.
Sonia Ihenachor:
How does this apply to multilateral projects?
USAID Agrilinks:
Very good questions.
10
www.feedthefuture.gov
Sabrina Haque:
Just a quick check: the tagline in these 2 example is
in black color.
Sabrina Haque:
Isn’t it supposed to be in black?
Hector Santos:
Do you have an example with the 11 logos of the
agencies?
Henry Rwamugema:
Does the branding also applicable for Feed the Future
Partnering for Innovation program?
USAID Agrilinks:
We are finding this presentation to be very
informative!
Doreen Hove:
Hi m a DOC and have been reviewing Branding and
Marking plans for partners. Should they stop using the
tagline "from the American people" on radio,
television, press release, when talking to
beneficiaries, etc.?
Rachel Warnock:
Are these templates available for downloading? Like
the logos are?
USAID Agrilinks:
Poll time!
Hector Santos:
Where should the USAID logo be?
Simret Yasabu:
Africa RISING (africa-rising.net) has revised its Feed
the Future Logo a year ago in response to the logo
change. Is this one a new change or a continuations
of the last one?
Cydney (Agrilinks):
Sorry for the delay in getting the poll up!
Cydney (Agrilinks):
But great job to everyone.
Jessica Joye:
Do global materials include project-specific reports,
i.e. monthly bulletins or quarterly reports?
Lourdes Martinez:
Is this only for US agencies?
Lourdes Martinez:
Oh!
Lourdes Martinez:
Now.
USAID Agrilinks:
Good questions. We're recording them.
11
www.feedthefuture.gov
Courtney Tamimie:
Does this relate to innovation labs?
Jen Cupp:
Jessica - global materials are usually those produced
by the initiative. Products produced by implementing
partners fall under acquisition and assistance
branding, which Kaitlin is covering now on the
webinar.
Denalda Kuzumi:
Where does the name of the PROJECT go in this
case?
Adwoa Sey:
What should be the branding for a newsletter,
signpost for a crop demonstration site?
Jen Cupp:
Hector - our annual progress report is a good
example of a product with all the agency logos. You
can find it at www.feedthefuture.gov/progress
Timothy Close:
May we receive pre-printed peel-off logo stickers to
attach to various items?
Julie Ideh:
When writing the project title just under the logo, is it
necessary to write out Feed the Future again?
Hector Santos:
Thanks!
Tracy Simmons:
On the USAID logo, what about the country sub
brand?
Jen Cupp:
Timothy - we currently do not have plans to create
and distribute Feed the Future stickers. We expect
partners to include such products as part of their
branding and marking plan.
Dave Hoisington:
Where would you place logos for any sub-award
institutes for an assistance award?
Gary Burniske:
What about the projects that have a co-financing by
another donor - and furthermore, what if Feed the
Future is only a small portion?
Lourdes Martinez:
Same question as Dave.
Carol McCarthy:
My organization is lead implementer of a coop.
agreement through USAID/Ghana that contributes to
12
www.feedthefuture.gov
FtF initiative. Grant was awarded in October 2014 so
we don't need to follow this, correct?
Ahmed Kablan:
Wendy/Kaitlin could you address some questions.
Timothy Close:
OK, will place an order for stickers with a printer, no
problem.
Hector Santos:
I didn't catch how to manage the branding when using
a G2G implementing mechanism.
Brenda Dawson:
Related to Tim's question: Will equipment be required
to be marked with Feed the Future logos (as it is
currently required to be marked with USAID logo).
And if so, will that mean equipment stickers will need
multiple logos?
Dave Hoisington:
Many Innovation Labs have used their own logos. Are
these allowed and/or can exceptions be granted for
their use?
Melissa Becchi:
Can the logo be put on colored t-shirts?
Jen Cupp:
Gary - great question! We'll discuss in the Q&A in a
few minutes.
Courtney Tamimie:
Some of our signage/communication pieces were
produced prior to these regulations and do not include
the FTF logo. This was in line with our Branding &
Marking Strategy approved by USAID which noted we
would use USAID logo in all communication
pieces. Is this agreeable?
Lourdes Martinez:
Where are the templates on the feed the future page?
Marguerite Halversen:
As an Innovation Lab, we have 12 universities
engaged with our project, with MSU being just the
management entity, how do we recognize that
participation?
Garth Patterson:
Question: my office (FFP) uses Community
Development Funds (CDF) from the Bureau of Food
Security to implement development projects. Are CDF
considered Feed the Future funds? Is any money
from BFS considered Feed the Future funds?
13
www.feedthefuture.gov
USAID Agrilinks:
In five minutes we will start up again! Stay tuned.
Jen Cupp:
Lourdes - templates are forthcoming.
Mark Varner:
Any thoughts on video/photo backdrops where a logo
is repeated so that the logo appears from various
possible angles. How do you then balance Feed the
Future and USAID appearance?
Lisa Borello:
Just to clarify: these standards only apply to projects
which received awards after Jan. 1, 2015?
Katherine Kairichi:
Where do we place the sub-contractors logo in
banners and other communications material? Same
place as that of the main implementing partner?
Courtney Tamimie:
Are we correct that for innovation labs'
signage/communication pieces developed now, the
FTF logo always be applied?
Jason Sam:
Can you address how the branding will work for web
applications?
Shirin Akhter:
About the naming of the project, what should the case
of projects that are already running and has an
established name already?
Elisa Burrows:
Our project often has infrastructure or events paid for
by leveraged funds from our private sector partners.
Do all the same branding rules apply?
Tim Holder:
Will templates for additional communication materials
be made available (beyond what was mentioned in
the presentation portion? Thanks!
Jessica Joye:
We've had a few instances where we are working in
countries that are not FTF focus countries, but the
project is funded through FTF, so we've followed FTF
branding guidelines. Just want to confirm that is
correct, and to flag it for anyone else who might be in
similar situations.
Jason Sam:
What would the branding guidelines be for business
cards?
14
www.feedthefuture.gov
Ana Mendes:
How does this apply to trilateral cooperation projects,
where two more add financial and in kind
contributions and is not possible to determine which
activity receives more than 50% contribution from the
US? We have developed a trilateral cooperation
branding, which shows the logos of USAID,
beneficiary country and Brazilian Cooperation
Agency. Should we consider replacing the USAID
logo by the Feed the Future?
Hector Santos:
I also missed how to use the branding and activity
name in the language of the host country?
Katherine Kairichi:
Please advise on how to brand Feed the Future
projects on social media?
Jen Cupp:
Katherine - social media guidance is forthcoming too!
Mark Ohland:
We were awarded in November 2014. Where may we
put our Virginia Tech logo (as our university
mandates) and our established IPM logo?
Hector Santos:
What is the branding guidance when working with
other donors?
Jen Cupp:
Hector - our updated Feed the Future Graphic and
Naming Standards Manual will have more info on
translation.
Cydney (Agrilinks):
Thanks everyone for some great questions. We're
going to take another 2-3 minutes as there's some
great questions.
USAID Agrilinks:
See Jen's answers above!
Cydney (Agrilinks):
I'll restart the countdown clock.
Dave Hoisington:
I'm assuming these guidelines do not apply to PIOs,
although what if an Innovation Lab is providing funds
to a PIO?
Kaitlin Lesnick:
Hi everyone! I'm seeing a lot of very specific design
questions, please be sure to email them to
feedthefuturebranding@usaid.gov and copy your
AOR/COR.
15
www.feedthefuture.gov
KDAD AV Tech:
Thank you all for your excellent questions. We're
discussing them in-room now and will be back on
shortly.
USAID Agrilinks:
See Kaitlin Lesnick's response above.
Brenda Dawson:
Would you mind discussing a little to what extent you
would recommend we comply with Feed the Future
branding, *before* we are contractually required to?
Perhaps what types of products you would
recommend we should focus efforts on changing...?
Ones with certain audiences or certain lifespans, etc.?
Kaitlin Lesnick:
We'll address what we can in the Q&A, and we really
appreciate all these great questions!
Hector Santos:
The guidance refers to activities... what about
publications from the Mission.
Jen Cupp:
Katherine and others who asked - when there are
multiple implementing partners or sub awardees for
assistance awards, you'd place their logos on the
bottom to the right of the USAID and main
implementing partner logos.
USAID Agrilinks:
For very tailored questions related to design, please
send them to feedthefuturebranding@usaid.gov and
copy your AOR/COR.
Doreen Hove:
Should our partners still use "from the American
people" or the Feed the Future Guidelines take
precedence. Do you have guidelines for Radio?
Jessica Joye:
For projects awarded right around Jan 2015 - before
new guidelines were finalized - will the name change
to include Feed the Future? If so, will we receive
direct instruction as to how and when to incorporate
the new name?
Cydney (Agrilinks):
We'll be back on in one minute.
Jen Cupp:
Dave - the requirements only apply to PIOs if the PIO
is competing with NGOs for grants, the sole funder is
16
www.feedthefuture.gov
Feed the Future through USAID, or other
funding institutions are including their logos.
Kazi Amin:
Is there any template for Event backdrop for
implementing partners?
Marguerite Halversen:
How will this FTF branding distinguish between official
FTF publications and partner publications? With these
new guidelines, it could appear that all publications
are FTF official policies/statement. How can we avoid
that confusion?
USAID Agrilinks:
We're about to start again! Great questions from you
all.
USAID Agrilinks:
The Feed the Future team has shared a lot of
valuable information today.
USAID Agrilinks:
Use this email: feedthefuturebranding@usaid.gov
Mark Varner:
I have sent in questions about branding details and I
got prompt and cogent responses. Thanks to the
branding office.
Jen Cupp:
Jessica - for any awards made on or after January 1,
2015, that are Feed the Future funds, yes, the naming
applies. Your AOR will work with you if you need to
update the name or branding.
USAID Agrilinks:
Good to hear, Mark.
Jen Cupp:
Thanks, Mark!
Dave Hoisington:
Do you plan to use the questions to produce a FAQ?
Jen Cupp:
Dave - yes! We actually have an FAQ in the works
now that captures some of the questions asked today.
Mandy Wilson:
On a website, may menu items be included in the
header bar? I.e., Login/Logout, username, profile
link, etc.
Jen Cupp:
We're capturing all the questions asked here as well
to make sure y'all get answers, even if we don't get to
them all today.
17
www.feedthefuture.gov
Jen Cupp:
The Feed the Future Graphic and Naming Standards
Manual has specifications on websites on pages 30
and 34.
Sabrina Haque:
Hi: Our project named USAID Agriculture Value
Chains project implementing by DAI. Does this project
falls under acquisition?
Jen Cupp:
You can download the manual at http:
//feedthefuture.gov/branding
USAID Agrilinks:
Thanks to Jen for sharing some useful info and links
above!
Jen Cupp:
Sabrina - you'll want to check with your AOR or COR.
Lourdes Martinez:
I cannot find the templates on your web page can you
tell me again where I can find ppt templates?
Mark Ohland:
We share Mandy Wilson's question, above.
Lourdes Martinez:
I can't.
Jen Cupp:
Lourdes - the templates aren't on our website yet.
Denalda Kuzumi:
If we are designing a new product such as a KM
platform to become public on a website, can we
design the brand as we wanted for this product, and
place it in the website in compliance with the FTF
structure.
Jen Cupp:
Mandy and Mark - you can check out the Feed the
Future website for an example of how we've used the
logo along with navigation items. http:
//feedthefuture.gov (if you have more specific design
questions still, go ahead and send us an email at
feedthefuturebranding@usaid.gov).
Dima Masri:
Also logo in Arabic?
Mandy Wilson:
Thank you, Jen!
Sabrina Haque:
That I have to check with my other colleagues, but for
the time being, could you please explain the
18
www.feedthefuture.gov
difference that would be take place for AOR and
COR.
USAID Agrilinks:
Save this email address:
feedthefuturebranding@usaid.gov -- we know it will
come in handy for many of you making these
adjustments and asking questions!
Jen Cupp:
Denalda - good question. It's difficult to determine
without seeing it. Go ahead and send us an email at
feedthefuturebranding@usaid.gov
Jen Cupp:
Innovation Labs - Wendy answering your questions
now!
Denalda Kuzumi:
Thanks. Will do.
Hector Santos:
I don't find the specifications for websites on pages 30
and 34 of the guidance, is there another document?
Jen Cupp:
Hector - Sorry, I got the page numbers wrong. Pages
32 and 36. They're in the examples section of
acquisition and assistance awards in the manual.
Ian Stanley:
Are we restricted to only using FTF colors in
infographics and illustration artwork?
USAID Agrilinks:
First round of Q&A were great! More to come.
USAID Agrilinks:
Keep them coming!
Adwoa Sey:
It is difficult following because audio keeps breaking.
Edite Ferreira:
Should partners still use "from the American people"?
Jen Cupp:
Ian - that's a really great question. Yes, there is room
for creative design in your products. Just make sure
they look good. The Feed the Future logo should be
the approved color and placement.
USAID Agrilinks:
Adwoa, if you are having audio issues, private chat
our AV tech - he may be able to provide some
guidance.
Adwoa Sey:
Ok, thanks.
19
www.feedthefuture.gov
Ousmane Ouedraogo:
Can you let us know if it possible to watch this
document or to enter on the website to consult this
webinar?
USAID Agrilinks:
You can start a private chat by hovering over an
attendee's name and clicking "start private chat"
Jen Cupp:
Ian - Sorry, my answer is a little confusing. To
rephrase: You may use other colors outside the Feed
the Future color palette.
Jen Cupp:
The Feed the Future logo should just be in an
approved color and properly placed.
Simret Yasabu:
This has been an interesting presentation and
discussion. I am happy that I was able to be part of
this. I have to step out now but hope to get the
remaining discussion on the audio file to be share, I
hope.
USAID Agrilinks:
Ousmane, the webinar recording and audio transcript
will be available on the Agrilinks event page in about
a week.
USAID Agrilinks:
Thanks for joining, Simret.
Jason Sam:
I'm sorry, we also lost audio for a little while. Was the
branding as it relates to Webpages and Business
Cards discussed?
Jen Cupp:
Jason - Business cards are considered administrative
products so Feed the Future branding doesn't apply.
Simret Yasabu:
Most welcome and thank for organizing this and hope
to join in another webinar on related topics.
USAID Agrilinks:
Please do!
Brenda Dawson:
Thanks for taking so many questions! I think someone
asked this earlier, but what about project field signs?
Ousmane Ouedraogo:
Thanks for your support.
20
www.feedthefuture.gov
USAID Agrilinks:
Everyone, keep an eye on this web page for
resources from this presentation in about a week:
http: //agrilinks.org/events/feed-future-branding-101
Hector Santos:
Thanks Jen! I see that the website needs approval for
program/project websites. Does this also apply for a
website of an activity?
Jen Cupp:
Brenda, et. al - Field signs should be branded
similarly to the rest of materials: Feed the Future logo
in the upper left, USAID logo in the lower left.
Papy Nzau:
Can any final document be sent to Feed the Future
team for branding and graphic clearance?
Jessica Joye:
Are branded shirts and hats for field staff going to be
allowed under the FTF guidelines?
Hector Santos:
I'm looking at the examples for publications of
Acquisition and Assistance instruments. The
examples do not include the name of the activity.
Hector Santos:
Where will the name of the activity be displayed?
Jen Cupp:
Papy - If you have questions you can ask us, but your
AOR or COR will be the one to give clearance.
Jason Sam:
Thanks Jen, what about how it should be applied to
webpages and websites.
USAID Agrilinks:
Second round of questions are about to start.
Jen Cupp:
Jason - Website branding placement guidelines are
included in the Feed the Future Graphic and Naming
Standards Manual at http:
//feedthefuture.gov/branding
USAID Agrilinks:
Here we go!
Cydney (Agrilinks):
Okay everyone we're going to start answering
questions.
Jason Sam:
Thanks Jen.

Jen Cupp:
For country sub-brands, Missions can apply the
country sub-brand of their USAID logo where the
USAID logo is placed in the examples in the manual.
Lourdes Martinez:
I did not understand!
Jen Cupp:
So, in essence, you'd swap your USAID Mission logo
in for where the USAID logo is.
Jen Cupp:
Project sign example on page 27 of the manual.
Kate Thomas:
Do Feed the Future branding guidelines always trump
USAID branding guidelines?
Brenda Dawson:
Thank you!
Jen Cupp:
Kate - they don't trump USAID's guidelines so much
as layer on top of them. Many of the Feed the Future
guidelines are aligned with USAID's guidance,
with the addition of the Feed the Future logo for
USAID-funded Feed the Future projects.
USAID Agrilinks:
Once again, bookmark this email address!
feedthefuturebranding@usaid.gov
Alex Loken:
Are the fonts, etc. 508 compliant?
Jen Cupp:
But in terms of policy, yes. Feed the Future is now
allowed to provide additional or substitute branding
guidelines for USAID projects funded by Feed the
Future funds.
Kate Thomas:
Thanks, Jen. I did notice that. If there was a conflict, I
was looking to see the brand hierarchy. Thanks!
Heather Fabries:
We are an Innovation Lab and fall under an exception
since the project started before January 1. If we
request a change to our current branding (add a
partner logo), would we then fall under the new
guidelines and have to rebrand totally (add the Feed
the Future logo)?
Jen Cupp:
Kate - if you have a conflict you have a question
about, feel free to send us an email at
feedthefuturebranding@usaid.gov

www.feedthefuture.gov
Shereen Abdelaaty:
What about using our project logo, esp. since it's
become well-known brand?
Aida Murad:
Will we be provided with templates or are individual
projects expected to create their own?
Jen Cupp:
Heather - no, though we encourage all current Feed
the Future projects to use our naming and branding,
you're not required to unless or until the project
receives an extension with funding.
Laurie Chamberlain:
On the cover of a report, below the REPORT NAME,
is it OK to have the Name of the Project and the
Contract Number? If not, where should the Project
name go? Thanks.
Mark Ohland:
Could you please move the Whiteboard so we may
see the Chat?
Mark Ohland:
Thank you.
Jen Cupp:
Aida - we're working on creating templates now for
some of the more common communications
materials, such as fact sheets and PowerPoint slides.
We'll post them on http: //feedthefuture.gov/branding
next month!
Aida Murad:
Thank you!
Lourdes Martinez:
Great!
Albert Oppong-Ansah:
Our program is ending in 2018 do we need change to
the new branding?
Jen Cupp:
Albert - if your program was awarded on or after
January 1, 2015, the branding requirements apply.
They also apply if your program receives an
extension, with funding, for a year or more.
Jen Cupp:
Your AOR will work with you to re-name and create a
branding and marking plan that complies with the new
guidelines if that's the case.
Cydney (Agrilinks):
Thanks everyone. We'll take another 3 minutes and
then be back.

Jen Cupp:
Thanks for all the great questions! We had some
technical difficulties earlier so if you asked one earlier
and haven't seen an answer yet, please re-send. We'll
try to get to as many as we can!
Mandy Wilson:
I would also be curious to hear the answer to
Shereen's question. Is something like a project logo
for a known brand on a case-by-case basis?
Mandy Wilson:
*handled on a case-by-case basis?
Alex Loken:
Under contracts we must be 508 compliant - do these
new standards meet that requirement?
Marguerite Halversen:
Does receiving a new Associate Award constitute an
extension with funding such that new FTF branding
rules would then apply to the entire IL project?
Courtney Buck:
Also related to Shereen's question - For programs
awarded prior to January 1 2015, are program/project
logos still allowed?
Amer Fayad:
The answer to Innovation Labs marking and branding
addressed project logos but did not address the
Management Entity Institution Logo.
Jen Cupp:
Marguerite - yes, sub awards and associate awards
are considered new awards.
Mandy Wilson:
Yes, Amer, that is really what I was concerned about - the innovation lab logo : )
Marguerite Halversen:
Jen, so we would need to implement the new
branding guidelines for the entire IL because of one
new Associate Award?
Doreen Hove:
Hi Jen, I am a Doc and wanted to know if we should
continue to advise partners to stress that funding is
"from the American people" and secondly we use
Radio a lot in Zimbabwe. Do you have guidance?
USAID Agrilinks:
More answers are around the corner!
Jen Cupp:
Doreen - We'll check on that. Go ahead and send us
an email at feedthefuturebranding@usaid.gov
24
www.feedthefuture.gov
Doreen Hove:
Ok I will send you an email. Thanks!
Jen Cupp:
Marguerite - Wendy and Kaitlin will discuss your
question in the next round of Q&A in just a minute.
Jen Cupp:
Thanks, Doreen!
Marguerite Halversen:
Thanks.
Mark Ohland:
Mandy, we're covered under what they said for
"Innovation Labs," which was "we're still discussing
and looking for a balanced response."
USAID Agrilinks:
Here we go.
Jen Cupp:
Promotional items: Clarifications are coming in our
updated manual, which we'll add to http:
//feedthefuture.gov/branding. Overall, follow the
USAID rules for this. Any promotional items should be
included in branding and marking plan and relate to
development objectives of the program.
USAID Agrilinks:
For folks inquiring about promotional materials, this
answer is for you.
Mandy Wilson:
Thanks, Mark!
Jen Cupp:
Templates: We will have templates! Check http:
//feedthefuture.gov/branding for them. Hopefully we'll
have them live on the website by mid-next week!
Tim Holder:
So, ONLY fact sheets and PPT templates will be
made available, right?
Pengreaoga Georges Compaore: Our project began on April 2, 2014 for four years
(planned ending date March 31, 2018). Are we
concerned with these new branding/ naming policies?
USAID Agrilinks:
^Bookmark the branding page Jen mentions above for
templates and FAQs, coming soon.
Jen Cupp:
Tim - for now, yes.
Tim Holder:
Thanks!
25
www.feedthefuture.gov
Jen Cupp:
The logo placement on them will hopefully be useful
for informing other materials you design.
Mark Ohland:
When will you be coming out with the new
graphic/branding manual?
Kaitlin Lesnick:
Hi Mark -- the updated version should be online in the
next several days.
Mandy Wilson:
As a follow-up to Mark's question, is there a mailing
list we can get on so we know if the branding manual
has been updated?
Kaitlin Lesnick:
We'll be sending out emails about it!
Jen Cupp:
Mandy - you can follow us on Twitter for live updates!
Jen Cupp:
@FeedtheFuture
Mandy Wilson:
Thanks,Jen.
Jessica Joye:
As a follow up to Wendy's point now, for projects
awarded in January, who will provide guidance on the
appropriate name? There still seems to be a lot of
confusion at the Mission level!
Meredith Jones:
What about the naming re: acronyms, on projects
that get a year + cost extension?
Jen Cupp:
Meredith - for those awards, the full naming
requirements will apply, so no acronyms.
USAID Agrilinks:
Great questions, all! Keep sending additional
questions to this email:
feedthefuturebranding@usaid.gov
Marguerite Halversen:
Will the Chat still be available for viewing, too?
Tara Steinmetz:
I would love an answer to Marguerite's question: Jen,
so we would need to implement the new branding
guidelines for the entire IL because of one new
Associate Award?
Jen Cupp:
Jessica - we're still socializing the changes with our
Missions. Generally the AOR or COR will provide
guidance.

Thanks very helpful.
Brenda Dawson:
Wendy, Jen and Kaitlin - thanks for doing such a good
job on this webinar and for entertaining all of our
questions!
USAID Agrilinks:
Please fill out the polls before you go!
Cydney (Agrilinks):
Thanks, everyone!
Baou Diane:
Very useful many thanks everyone.
USAID Agrilinks:
Keep an eye on the event page (http:
//agrilinks.org/events/feed-future-branding-101) for
resources from this presentation, which will be posted
in around a week.
Jen Cupp:
Tara et. al - the sub awardee will need to follow the
naming guidance but it won't affect the entire IL
unless or until it's extended for a year or more with
funding.
KDAD AV Tech:
We will leave the room open for another five minutes
or so. Please complete the end polls and remember
to email questions to:
feedthefuturebranding@usaid.gov
Tara Steinmetz:
Great - thanks, Jen!
Jen Cupp:
Thanks so much for the questions, everyone!
