Grant us so to die daily unto sin, that we may evermore live with him in the joy of his risen life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen Please turn off mobile phones before the service commences. Please note that we have a hearing loop and adjust your hearing aid accordingly. Welcome to St Helena’s in the name of Christ. If you are a baptised Christian of any tradition, you are invited to receive Communion with us this morning. A warm welcome to our visitors and newcomers today. Please stay for refreshments in the courtyard after the service. The Collect Almighty God, through your only-begotten Son Jesus Christ you have overcome death and opened to us the gate of everlasting life: Grant that, as by your grace going before us you put into our minds good desires, so by your continual help we may bring them to good effect; through Jesus Christ our risen Lord who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen Looking Forward – Happy Easter to you all and welcome to our Easter Day service. Today, there will be opportunity to place a flower at the foot of the cross, as the symbols of passion and suffering are replaced by those of peace and joy. You should pick up your flower after receiving communion and then place it in the areas prepared. Sponsor forms are still available for our sponsored walk on Oroklini Mountain next Saturday. The walk will be fairly level, and there will be shorter options for those who wish to take them. The event will conclude with a picnic at which we hope to be able to sell barbequed food and also drinks. Further details from Jim. We are now developing a Facebook page for the church, to help publicise our activities. Please give details of anything you would like to appear, to Doug and Helen. Please do add your names to the rosters at the back of the church if you would like to read, or if you are an intercessor. If you are unsure about doing any of these things and have not done them before please do have a word with me. We are always pleased to welcome new participants. If you have not already had a copy of the Pastoral Letter, there are copies available at the back of the church, and also copies of scene@synod.
