Student Volunteer Scholarship Application
The student volunteer program is collaboration between graduate students in
counseling, social work, or other mental health related fields and the Alabama
Association for Play Therapy. Volunteers, if selected, are asked to assist the conference
committee with preparations the night before the conference and assist periodically
before, during, and after the conference. In return, each winner of the student
scholarship will receive one free admission to the Alabama Association for Play Therapy
Conference. This provides the student with a valuable experience in the behind the
scene planning of a play therapy conference, a chance to meet the speaker, who is
usually nationally known, and a chance to attend the conference for free while giving
back to the Alabama Association for Play Therapy. This scholarship does not include
lodging or mileage for the event. DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS TWO MONTHS
PRIOR TO NEXT WORKSHOP. Winners will be selected one month before the
conference
