EUROPE Research 7th European Young Researcher Award 2015 For clinical spine research EUROPE Award Young Research Award 2015 Application process: The Award winner will be announced in July 2015 • Submission deadline: May 31st 2015 • Applicants without AOSpine membership are The Award Grant: • • First place paper: • 10’000.00 Swiss Francs • • Invitation to present during an AOSpine event • Public announcement of the award • Free AOSpine membership for one year Second place paper: • 3’000.00 Swiss Francs • Free AOSpine membership for one year Third place paper: • 2’000.00 Swiss Francs • Free AOSpine membership for one year Fourth & Fifth place paper: • Free AOSpine membership for one year • • • For more information visit: www.aospine.org/yra or send an email to: aoseuresearch@aospine.org • AOSpine Europe, Middle East, and Africa Stettbachstrasse 6 8600 Dübendorf Switzerland asked to provide a letter of recommendation from an AOSpine Member Applicants must reside in Europe Applicants can be up to and including 40 years of age on the 31st of May 2015 Papers submitted for review: • The applicant must have first authorship in the manuscript • The paper submitted for review should be an original spine-related research work which has been accepted for publication or already published in an international journal listed in either PubMed, SCI-Expanded or Embase from the 1 July 2014 until the 31st of May 2015. (If the paper has not yet been published a letter of acceptance from the Editorial Board of the journal should be included stating the publication date) Applications are evaluated based on a predefined set of criteria, including the relevance of the research question, its clinical impact and novelty value, the study design, the results and their interpretation Applicants can only submit one paper for consideration Applications must consist of a full manuscript in English declaring the background and objectives of the research work; the methods, results and conclusions made based on these findings, as well as a balanced discussion of the results in comparison to previous work in the field The award winner selected by the AOSpine Europe Research Committee aoseuresearch@aospine.org www.aospine.org facebook.com/AOSpineEMEA @aospineEMEA
