Condolences to friends and family
William R. Davidson, former member of the Manatee Association of Realtors, passed on April
21st, and services were held on April 26th. Bill, a member for nearly 30 years, was broker
of Neal & Neal, then later was with Wagner and Keller Williams Realty Manatee until 2012.
Condolences to friends and family
Mary Lou Spinelli, member of RASM and Realtor with Wagner Realty, passed away on
Saturday, May 2nd. A memorial service is set for Saturday, May 16th at 10 a.m. at Saint
Martha's at the corner of Fruitville and Orange. There will also be a reception in the
clubhouse of the condo complex where Mary Lou lived - Sarabay Cove.
Education Achievement Award
Each year, Florida Realtors honors a member who advocates the importance of education,
shares knowledge by teaching, volunteers time to assist with courses at the association,
worked hard planning educational programs. If there is a member of RASM that you feel we
should submit, please send that name with a brief explanation to

MLS Fee Notice
My Florida Regional MLS Fees Due May 18th
My Florida Regional MLS and My Florida Commercial Real Estate fees were posted to our
members' MFRMLS account in early April, and are due no later than May 18th.
The fee to subscribe to MFRMLS for 2015-2016 will be $363 (June 1, 2015 to May 31,
2016). The fee to subscribe to MFCRE/Catylist for 2015-2016 will be $414 (June 1, 2015 to
May 31, 2016). MFRMLS sent email invoices in early April. All fees must be paid by 5:00 pm
on May 18, 2015. To view and pay your MLS invoice please log on to MFRMLS website
www.mfrmls.com and select "Pay Your Bill". Any questions concerning your invoice should
be directed to MFRMLS/MFCRE at 1-800-686-7451.

The difference between the words people speak and our understanding of what they are
saying comes from non-verbal communication, otherwise known as "body language." By
developing your awareness of the signs and signals of body language, you can more easily
understand other people, and more effectively communicate and negotiate with
them. There are sometimes subtle - and sometimes not so subtle - movements, gestures,
facial expressions and even shifts in our whole bodies that indicate something is going on.
The way we talk, walk, sit and stand all say something about us, and whatever is happening
on the inside can be reflected on the outside. By becoming more aware of this body
language and understanding what it might mean, you can learn to read people more
easily. By increasing your understanding of others, you can also become more aware of the
messages that you convey to them and become a more effective negotiator.
