ENGLISH Theme based Activity: (Health Vs Veggies) Class III Roll No. 1 to 10 a) Create a healthy vegetarian recipe for your father on the occasion of father’s day. (3rd Sunday of June) Write it on a sheet and click a picture of the item your prepared and also click a picture of you and your father enjoying your dish J Paste the pictures in your ENGLISH activity file and also write the recipe. b) Make a bowl of soup as per the instructions given below and enjoy it with your family. Ingredients: a) Tomato – ½ Kg b) Carrot – 2 no.s c) Ginger – ½ inch d) Salt – as per required e) Sugar – ½ tsp. f) Black pepper powder – ¼ tsp. g) Cornflower – 2tsp. h) Fresh Cream i) Coriander Leaves Preparation – Wash carrots and tomato and ginger. Boil them in a pressure cooker with required salt and 3 glasses of water. Drain the water and put it in bowl and smash the boiled vegetables, then mix it to drained water and filter it. The filtrate should be boiled for three minute with sugar, black pepper and 2 tsp. of cornflower. Serve hot in a bowl with fresh cream and coriander leaves. Roll No. 31 – 40 Craft a scroll showing 2D and 3D shapes (you can draw as well as use cutouts of these shapes) Some of the 2D shapes are – Square, Rectangle, Triangles, Hexagon, Trapezium 3D shapes are – Cube, Cone, Pyramid, Prism, Cylinder, Sphere. Roll No. 41 onwards v) On a mountboard show a point , line , ray , line segment, using pulses or grains and write definitions neatly. (Refer Unit – Geometry of your mathematics book page number 133,134,135) CLASS – III SCIENCE SCIENCE FUN : ROLL No. 1 to 8 with 1. “Dadi Ma Ke Nuskhe” – Make an attractive wall-hanging including any 2 remedies for good health importance of ingredients used in that remedy.
