Graduate employment Survey Please report your employment status by April 17, WHETHER OR NOT YOU HAVE OBTAINED A POST-‐
GRADUATION POSITION. The law school is required by the accreditation authorities to collect complete and accurate statistics regarding the employment status of its students at graduation and 9 months after graduation. Because a number of students have not reported this information voluntarily in the past, the law school has two new policies: 1. Bar forms will not be released to the bar examiners for those students who do not fill out the Graduate Employment Form 2. Diplomas will not be released on the day of graduation to those students who do not fill out the Graduate Employment Form. The Graduate Employment Form must be filled out by April 17 or as soon as your post-‐graduate position is confirmed. To fill out the form online, login to your Symplicity account, click on "Profile" and then click on the Graduate Employment Survey tab. The form asks you to report what you will be doing after your graduation. Please fill out the form even if you do not have a position by graduation. When you obtain a position, you may return to the online version and change your employment status. Note that your employment status should not be "enrolled in a full-‐time degree program" unless you are attending a graduate, doctoral or other degree program AFTER you graduate from law school. Your Symplicity account will remain active, and you have a lifetime membership in the Career Planning Office. We have a counselor who specializes in working with alumni. Please contact us when you are done with exams to continue your job search. In addition, since at least 40% of the class is headed to judicial clerkship positions, Career Planning counselors are available to discuss the post-‐clerkship job process with you. 6.
