SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS – PLEASE READ

General
This event will be held under the 2015 General Competition
Rules and all 2015 changes published in FASTRACK.
Participant Accident Insurance is provided as in the SCCA
Master Plan.
The organizers reserve the right to postpone, abandon, or cancel
the event or any part of the event. Entry fees will be refunded to
those offered no opportunity to compete.
The track configuration is the counter-clockwise 2.9 mile track.
The 1.8 mile course will be used if enough workers are not
present to man the 2.9 mile course.
CAR ELIGIBILITY: Competition is open to all cars conforming to
the GCR, as amended. All cars are required to use fully
operational AMB transponders, and the driver is responsible for
providing correct information to Timing & Scoring. All cars are
required to have US Majors Tour stickers visibly placed on each
side of the vehicle. Stickers will be provided free of charge and
may be obtained at registration and/or tech.
DRIVERS MEETING: Impound All will be given at the end of
each of the first Qualifying sessions on Saturday, for all groups,
to conduct a drivers meeting for each group. Impound will be in
the Tech Area. Look for the signs for proper direction.
Each team may be asked to provide a person to help staff
the event if needed. Teams may proactively contact the
Race Chair or Registrar with names and available dates for
volunteer assignments
Entries
FREE ENTRY GIVEAWAY: A free entry will be awarded to one
driver registering for the event 14 days prior to the weekend.
Driver name will be drawn at the event party or other designated
time.
DRIVER ELIGIBILITY: Drivers must be a current member with a
SCCA Full Competition or SCCA Pro license to participate in this
event. If you do not have the proper credentials it is your
responsibility to contact the Registrar prior to the event.
An entry is not considered complete until the proper fee, as listed
on the Official Entry Form, is received.
Online registration will close by May 17, 2015 at 10 pm.
Competitors who do not have all required credentials in their
possession thereby requiring a call to the National Office to
confirm eligibility, must make arrangements with the Registrar on
or before May 17, 2015.
REFUNDS: A full refund will be made if the entry is withdrawn
prior to turning a wheel on track. Garage fees will be charged
unless able to be reassigned by the REGISTRAR. If you preenter and are a no show, your check will be destroyed and any
credit card payments will be credited back to your credit card
less garage fee, if applicable. If you sign in at registration and do
not go thru or pass Tech, you must notify the Chief of
Registration, BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE TRACK, in order to
receive your full refund.
PREFERRED NUMBERS: Every effort will be made to honor
Conference Preferred Numbers until 14 days prior to the event.
Due to the make-up of the run groups, this may not be possible
in all situations. If two drivers holding the same Preferred
Number request that number for the same run group, the number
will be assigned to the driver with the earliest request. Secondary
priority will be given to SOWDIV permanent numbers and will be
honored for all entries received by May 17, 2015. Duplicates will
be honored on a first come/first granted basis.
Lone Star Region reserves the right to reject any entry, Series
Chief Steward and the Event Chief Steward may modify the
Schedule of Events and/or race group configurations.

Registration
U.S. Majors Tour Express Registration: A dedicated line will be
available for drivers holding a 2015 U.S. Majors Tour Series
Registration Card. U.S. Majors Tour Express Tech will also be
available in the express line for those cardholders that have a valid
Annual Tech, 2015 Helmet sticker and no notations in their logbook.
If eligible, you will only need to bring your logbook to Registration to
receive your event “tech” sticker.
The Registrar will not issue crew passes to persons not listed on the
entry blank.
Everyone arriving at the track after Registration closes on Friday,
Saturday & Sunday are subject to the track’s admission policy.
Please be sure your crew is aware of the registration hours.
Registration at the track will be held at the end of Garage 1 in the
Driver’s Lounge.
IV. Safety and Tech Inspection
A. No smoking or engines running in Tech garage.
B. Sound control readings will be posted in Tech.
C. Before presentation at Tech, all items on the tech card must be filled
out down through “official weight” and “wheelbase” and the event
page in the vehicle logbook must be filled out.
1. Expect 4 lines Saturday morning: 1) Minimal inspection
logbook and helmet sticker; 2) Logbook notation/car
check; 3) Annual inspection (group 1 cars first); 4) Cars
not having logbooks (new car or lost).
2. Impounded cars are pushed across the scales in groups
by decreasing wheelbase.
D. Tech will keep the Vehicle Log Book for any car presented with no
tech sheet from registration until that sheet if furnished.
E. Any car involved in an accident or metal to metal contact with
another car must report to Tech at the end of that session.

A.
Driver Information / Grid Positions-Starts-Races
In the event the driver who qualifies the car is not able to race, a
substitute driver must obtain written permission from both the Chief
Steward and the Chief of Timing and Scoring and proceed to
register (and pay appropriate fee) after having obtained such written
permission.
B. QUALIFYING: A driver not qualifying within a maximum of 115% of
the recognized track record of their class must obtain permission
from the Series Chief Steward in order to race. In the case of
unusual circumstances, the Series Chief Steward can waive this rule
for the entire event.
C. Drivers who do not post a qualifying time may make a request to the
Chief Steward to start at the back of the pack.
D. A number board will be displayed with all Black and Mechanical
Black Flags at start/finish and at the designated Black Flag station.
E. IMPOUND: Saturday Timed races: The top three competitors in
each class shall report to impound immediately following the
completion of their race. Trophy presentations and photos will occur
in the Victory Circle area near impound following the race. Sunday
Distance races: The top three competitors in each class shall report
to impound immediately following the completion of their race, all
other competitors are strongly encouraged to attend the podium
festivities following their race. (Impound of all cars is encouraged
following Sunday’s races.) Victory celebrations and award
ceremonies will be conducted in the Victory Circle area near
impound following Sunday’s races. U.S. Majors Tour door prizes will
be awarded after each group’s podium ceremonies, you must be
present to win.

SPEC MIATA COMPLIANCE: At the direction of the Class
Compliance Chief at post-race inspection, Spec Miata
participants may be directed to remove parts, specific but not
limited to the cylinder head, for disassembly and/or inspection.
Competitors are responsible for performing required disassembly
and/or reassembly of their car, as well as any resulting expenses
incurred.
SPLIT STARTS: The Chief Steward will consider requests for
split starts and may authorize split starts based on qualifying
times.
VICTORY LAPS: Winners of all races will receive a checkered
flag. However, for Sunday races only, following the cool down
lap, the winner of each class should proceed immediately to pit
lane where they will receive a checkered flag and proceed on
course for a single Victory Lap. Drivers need not wear their
helmet or gloves during the victory lap, passengers are permitted
in accordance with GCR 6.11.7. Drivers shall maintain a safe
speed and be wary of safety vehicles that may be on course.
Paddock
Only rented garages assigned by Registration may be used.
Assignment sheets will be posted in the garages, Tech area and
will be available at Registration. Choose your garage when
you do online registration. Please no individual requests.
Each trailer inside the fenced garage area is allowed one
support vehicle regardless of the number of race cars inside. No
trailers allowed between garages. If renting a garage, trailers
are to be parked outside of fenced areas.
If you have rented a garage, you will be allowed only one
support vehicle inside the fenced garage area. No motor
homes are allowed in the fenced garage area.
Those wishing to paddock on the “back road” must park all
support vehicles off the pavement. Race cars will be
allowed on the pavement, but a 16 foot fire lane must
remain open in the center of the road. Only one support
vehicle will be allowed adjacent to the pavement, others
must be parked elsewhere.
Please keep your paddock area clean by using the trash bags
available at registration or in the Driver’s Lounge.
No race car engines may be started between 9 PM and 6 AM.
No car engines may be started or run in garages.
Maximum speed limit in the paddock is 10 mph.
No fluids will be drained onto pavement or ground. Dump
containers are at the end of the garage near the fuel pumps.
Driving stakes into the asphalt is prohibited.
The use of any wheeled conveyances is a privilege and may be
withdrawn at the discretion of the Chief Steward. Improper use
may be penalized. Only licensed drivers may operate a
motorized vehicle in the paddock. No skateboards, rollerblades,
etc. allowed.
No pets are allowed at TWS.
The main TWS gate at the south tunnel will be open from 7:00
am to 10:00 pm Friday evening. TWS will be charging a $20 per
vehicle fee (Thursday only, unless you are doing the test day).
Friday through Sunday the main gate will open and close as
shown on the schedule. The back gate for big rigs will be
opened on request during these hours. Contact the Security
Officer at the main gate. There is no track access (in or out)
outside these times.
VII. Pits
A. Access to the wall between the track and the pits is under the
control of the Chief Pit Marshall. Crews may stay at the wall during
an event for timing and signaling purposes only.
VIII. Other
A. The Race Chairman, Chief Steward and other race officials will
normally be near the gate between paddock and pit lane. The
Stewards of the Meet will be located in the Media room at the west
end of garage 1 (near Tech).
B. Competitors who have mechanical problems and need to test their
race car at speed may be allowed a hardship lap at the discretion of
the Chief Steward. All safety gear and belts must be worn and the
window net must be in place.
C. Grids, results will be available in the Driver’s Lounge.
D. AWARDS: Trophies for all races will be awarded in accordance with
the GCR. Trophies will be presented at the event. Major’s points will
be awarded in accordance with the GCR. Trophies will not be
mailed.
E. DECALS: A U.S. Majors Tour decal must be displayed on both
sides of all competition vehicles. Competition vehicles must also
display the official SafeRacer SCCA Club Racing decal per GCR
section 9.3.29.C.
F. Drivers may be held financially responsible for damage they
cause to TWS property. (ie: guard rails, etc.).
G. The Race Chairman, Chief Steward and other race officials will
normally be near the gate between paddock and pit lane. The
Stewards of the Meet will be located in the Media room at the west
end of garage 1 (near Tech).

REGISTRATION SCHEDULE:
FRIDAY, MAY 22, 2015: 4 PM TO 8 PM

REGISTRATION: Drivers can register for the race online at (dlbracing.com). Drivers without internet access may request
a paper entry form and mail it with their entry fees to Chief Registrar: Rosa Lee Smart (P.O. Box 302648, Austin, TX
78703). Make checks payable to Lone Star Region SCCA, Inc. A fee of $25 will be charged for any check returned by the
bank.
ENTRY FEES: Entry fee for the two day Major’s weekend is $500 if registered by May 17th, 2015. After May 17th, Entry
fee will be $550 for the weekend. Each SRF and FE entry will be charged an addition $20 compliance fee per entry for the
weekend.
REFUNDS: A full refund will be made if the entry is withdrawn prior to receiving a Tech Sticker. If you pre-enter and are a
no show, your check will be destroyed and any credit card payments will be credited back to your credit card. If you sign in

TRACK, in order to receive your full refund. Otherwise, there will be no partial refunds per Major’s regulations. Phone/Fax
entries will not be accepted. Please do not mail entries by any method that requires a signature upon delivery.
ENTRY FEE PAYMENT: Drivers who complete their registration on-line through dlbracing.com, will be required to enter
their payment (check/money order or credit card) at the time of registration. Credit cards will not be accepted for drivers
submitting paper entries, or for entries received at the track. You can change the format of payment at the time of registration
to check or cash, but we ask that you have the correct change if paying cash.
REGISTRATION PROCESS: We will be utilizing several express lines, plus some not so-express lines. Please make sure
you qualify for the line you are going to. We would hate for you to stand in the wrong line.
 EXPRESS REGISTRATION: (For drivers who have a U.S. Majors Series Hard Card, their SCCA license in
their hand, a current annual tech with no notations and a current year helmet sticker) Please bring your license,
logbook and helmet with you. If you are missing any one of these three items, you cannot complete express
registration and tech. Please have your crewmembers use the crew lines.
 REGISTRATION (For drivers who have the following issues):
° I don’t have my SCCA license with me. ° I need an annual tech on my car.
° I need my gear checked.
° I have issues with my logbook.
Gear check will be available in Registration or Garage Tech to get their event wristband and tech card, and then
either go to the Tech line for gear check and event stickers, or make their way to tech for annuals and logbook issues.

RULES: 1. Open Track Day Insurance stipulates the following: a. Passing in the straights only b. Pass with a point c. No Drivers without a current competition license (no students or lapsed licenses getting checked out) d. Full gear in race cars e. No Passengers. 2. Track will be open to the public but will limit non‐SCCA cars for the sake of compatibility and/or space. 3. Online Registration: dlbracing.com
4. There will be 2 to 4 run groups depending on registrations. If it fills up everyone will get six 20‐minute sessions for the day (more if the turnout is lower). SCCA’s rental begins at 6pm on Friday night. TWS will allow access to the track starting Thursday night at 6pm as follows:

If they are a worker or registered for the OTD, they will be on the gate list and can enter any time at no charge
If they are not on the list, they can enter early for $20 and will be issued a parking tag
If you pay $20 and go through walk‐up registration for the OTD, the $20 will be credited to your OTD entry
Once the OTD is over on Friday (~5p), everyone can enter at no charge. There are no other fees – no $5 gate fee, no camping fees, no RV fees, no electrical fees.
