Ms. Regina Moldovan
Sr. Director of Communications
AT&T Byron Nelson
106 E. 10th St., Suite 200
Dallas, TX 75203-2296
Dear Ms. Moldovan:
Having grown up with a father as a PGA golf professional and a brother who is currently an Assistant
Superintendent for the Golf Operations department at the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas,
I was thrilled to hear about the opportunity to support those who are responsible for making the HP Byron
Nelson such a success. Majoring in public relations, I am both interested in and highly motivated to contribute
to the creation and tracking of social media content, planning of marketing events, promotion of the Momentous
Institute and development of design materials. I am confident that I have the writing, design and interpersonal
skills necessary to effectively carry out the Communication Intern’s responsibilities.
Creating social media content for various organizations has not only strengthened my writing and
communication skills, but has also furthered my knowledge regarding audience identification and campaign
evaluation. In my current position as a leadership intern at the Shaw Center, I have garnered over $1,500 in
donations from local businesses, collected and analyzed quantitative and qualitative data, created quantitative
reports using Microsoft Excel and designed promotional materials. This position has instilled in me strong
organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
My design and AP writing skills have been greatly developed through pertinent classwork. From writing press
releases and creating a mock media kit and campaign for the PGA TOUR, to designing web layouts and an iPad
digital magazine using Adobe Creative Suite, I have become detail oriented and a terrific team player. I would
bring valuable leadership and interpersonal skills to the teamwork effort at the Salesmanship Club of Dallas.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to be a part of the 2015 AT&T Byron Nelson Championship.
I look forward to hearing back from you soon. You can contact me by phone at (956) 572-6014 or email me
at celindsa@syr.edu.
Sincerely,
Caitlin Lindsay
