WORDY WEDNESDAY
Although the STAAR test has come and gone, vocabulary is still very important for all
of our classes. The word for this week is Text Evidence which means prof found
from the text. This the last vocabulary word from our English department.
*****ATTENTION ALL 6TH GRADERS: Oops, Mrs. Juarez made a mistake
on the 5th period All “A” Honor Roll list. It has now been corrected so check to see if
you are on the list.
ATTENTION 8TH GRADERS: Klein Collins soccer coaches will have an
informational meeting on Wed. May 6th from 4:00-4:30pm, in the Schindewolf library.
If you are interested in trying out, please plan to attend.

7TH GRADE NJHS MEMBERS: If you are interested in purchasing a Tshirt or running for an officer position the applications/form can be picked up from Mrs.
Morris in the front office. They are both due by May 5th to Mrs. Hale or Mrs. Sanders.

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER: May 7th is National day of Prayer.
Any and all are welcome to join T-Wolves for Christ out by the flag pole on Thursday,
May 7th at 8:30am.

NO PLACE FOR HATE: Our last No Place for Hate meeting will be held
Tuesday, May 5th, in the library from 4:00-5:00pm. Please wear your t-shirts and join
us as we wrap up and celebrate a great year of making a different.

ATTENTION ALL 6TH GRADE BOYS & GIRLS: Last Intramurals
will be Monday, May 4th - 4:00-4:50pm. Flag football or Mat ball.

STUDENT COUNCIL SERVICE PROJECT: Our Student Council is
sponsoring one last community service project that will touch your hearts. We are
doing “SOLES FOR SOULS.” Soles as in slightly worn or new shoes donated to help
children and adults in need. It is time to clean out our closets and get rid of shoes that
no longer fit or shoes you just do not care for anymore. Please donate them to some
very needy people by bringing them to school through May 8th. Which grade level do
you think can bring in the most shoes? There will be labeled grade level plastic bins on
the stage to place the donations. Have a heart – give a SOLE! Let’s GO T-WOLVES!

ATTENTION ALL STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBERS: All representatives
wanting to run for office for next year must have a candidate form filled out and
returned to Mrs. McGee or Coach Stivers by today Friday May 1st. The last “All
member Student Council meeting” will be May 7th which will be the day we vote on our
2015-2016 Officers. Make plans to be present at both meetings. .
ATTENTION ALL 6TH & 7TH GRADE STUDENTS: Memory Books are
still on sale, they are $25.00. Just stop by the front office and pick up a Memory Book
Envelope.
