APRIL—Month of the Military Child
April is the Month of the Military Child and we have so many wonderful children whose parents span all five branches of the military. We are planning the following activities at EES to
highlight this very special month:

Morning Announcements—One child from each military branch will make the Morning
Announcement along with a short description about their family.

Bring Your Family to Lunch Day: All of our military children will be able to invite their
active duty/reserve parent and family to have lunch with them in the Cafeteria on April 15.

Purple Day—This is the day for all our military children to wear Purple to show support
as a military child. This includes active duty, reserve or retired families.

“Wall of Honor” - We are asking all our military kids to bring in a photo of their dad/mom
and family to display on a bulletin board near the front office.

On a large map of the US, each child can place a string from where they used to live prior
to being stationed here at Pax River NAS. ~~
