Both the advanced level nurse and the beginning practitioner will benefit from the information presented at this educational activity. Content areas are selected from the continuum of care for the trauma victim, rather than focusing exclusively on a particular area of nursing care. This selection of topics provides the participant with a broad view of aspects of trauma care and treatment. Content hours provided for this program can assist the nurse to meet yearly trauma education requirements in the care of the pediatric trauma victim.
