Online Learning Management System (LMS) LOGIN GUIDE Administrator User Manual V1.0 Copyright © 2015 Compass College Online Login Guide Administrator User Manual V.1.0 TO LOG IN TO COMPASS COLLEGE Paste https://compass.htsapps.com into your browser OR click on the Compass College link on Compasslive! then choose one of the two portals as per below: COMPASS USERS 1. Click on the Compass Users portal if: You are a Compass Group employee in Aus or NZ with a Compass Group employee number. *any attempt to log in through the Non Compass portal with a Compass IT Login will be rejected. Note: If you are already logged onto the network using your Compass IT login you will be taken directly to your dashboard and you will not require the following step. 2. A dialogue box will appear asking for your IT username and Password. If you do not know your password, click on the “Forgot Password” link to reset your IT Login. You will automatically be redirected to our One Identity Site. Note: If you encounter any login issues you should contact The Hub immediately on 1300 369 725 or email IS.Servicedesk@compass-group.com.au. OR NON COMPASS USERS 1. Click on the Non Compass Users portal: if you are new and have not yet received your employee number (once an employee number is allocated a notification will appear at login with) if you are an employee from another company who is managed by Compass if you are an external user (e.g. client, contractor or supplier) 2. You will be asked to enter your login details which were provided on your welcome to Compass College email. If you have forgotten your password click on the “Forgot Password” link and a computer generated password will be sent to your email address. Note: This login option can be used as a temporary measure at any time should you experience IT Login issues or Hub delays. Your HR or recruitment team can provide you with your Username should you require it. Page 2 of 4 Compass College Online Login Guide Administrator User Manual V.1.0 TROUBLESHOOTING I CANNOT LOGIN TO COMPASS COLLEGE First, check that you are using the correct login/portal: If you are a Compass Group employee, i.e. you have been setup on Payroll with an employee number, then you should be using your IT Login to access Compass College via the COMPASS USERS portal. If you do not have an employee number then they should be using the system generated username and password via the NON COMPASS USERS portal. I GET AN ERROR MESSAGE WHEN I TRY TO LOGIN All login errors should be directed to The Hub; via email IS.Servicedesk@compass-group.com.au; or by phone on 1300 369 725 for assistance. Before proceeding please ensure you are logging in using Internet Explorer and not Chrome or some other browser. If you are seeing an authentication message (see below) please try logging in using IE8 before calling The Hub. I DON’T KNOW MY IT LOGIN Everyone with an employee number has an IT Login! If you are an above unit employee (i.e. non-site staff) you are likely already using it to log onto your work computer, CHESS, smart phone, One Identity or the Hub/VSM. Compass College uses the same login as these. If not, then you will need to continue to One Identity Self Service. The One Identity Management system is where initial setup and password resets take place. There is a link to One Identity on Compasslive or alternatively the Compass College ‘Forgot Password’ link will take you directly to the One Identity home page. There are very clear instructions on each page as well as links to the One Identity User Guide. If any issues arise during this process which prevent you from proceeding you should contact The Hub by phone on 1300 369 725 or via email IS.Servicedesk@compass-group.com.au for assistance. I CANNOT FIND MY SYSTEM GENERATED PASSWORD? If you do not know your original system generated password you will need to use the Forgot Password option on the Non Compass Users login page, which will send a new password to your nominated email address. The email field must be populated for this to work. Page 3 of 4 Compass College Online Login Guide Administrator User Manual V.1.0 I HAVE LOGGED A JOB WITH THE HUB BUT THERE IS A DELAY If you need urgent access to Compass College but are still awaiting assistance from The Hub to log in, you can still use your original login details via the Non Compass portal as a temporary measure so as not to be disadvantaged. This system generated username and password should be contained in the first email received when you were added to Compass College. If you did not receive this email your HR team will be able to provide your username and you can reset your password by clicking on the “forgot password” link. Note: This system generated login should only be used until your IT Login has been reset. All Compass Users should be clicking on the Compass User portal and logging in using their IT Login I DO NOT HAVE AN EMAIL ADDRESS IN THE SYSTEM If there is no email address or an outdated email address exists in the system you will not be able to receive the system generated password reset email. You should login to PayGlobal Self Service (PGSS) and update the email field. Anyone with access to Compass College can manage this themselves via the Manage menu. If you cannot access Compass College for any reason a request can be made via email to ccosupport@compass-group.com.au to assist. Page 4 of 4
