As Coningsby, we are very proud of our AMAZING attendance rate! For

The P&C have asked me to place this message in the newsletter: We
are missing 2 eskys. Apparently they have been gone for quite some
time but we are asking anyone who might have borrowed them to
please return them as they are needed for school functions and they
belong to the P&C. Thank you for having a look in your garages, sheds
and storage spaces.

P&C PATTER
Our next general meeting will be held on
Monday, 1st June at 3:15pm. The P&C
would welcome any parents who would
like to come along and join in the
discussions on the day.
FUNDRAISING
The P&C have decided to discontinue the
collection of mobile phones so we will be
posting our last collection away soon. If
you have any old mobile phones at home
that you no longer require please send
them along to school for recycling. We will
continue to collect aluminium cans and
the used vehicle batteries which can be
droped off in the collection box at
Farview Tyres.
Miss Watchirs arranged interviews for the families in her class at the end
of last term. While Mrs Neilsen, Mrs Landrigan and myself did not request
interviews, we are more than happy to have interviews upon request.
Teachers welcome meeting their students' parents. Making an effort to do
this will help the teacher better understand you, your child, and how you
will support the education of your child. Teachers appreciate knowing that
parents are concerned and interested in their child's progress. And, this
helps open the lines of communication.
NAPLAN Information Session for Parents
Mrs Neilsen and I will be holding a parent information session Tues 5th
May from 3-3:30 in the Year 4-5-6 room.
2015 NAPLAN Testing for students in Years 3 & 5 will be May 1214th.
Warm regards,

INFORMATION FROM THE OFFICE
LOST PROPERTY
We do not currently hold lost property as we encourage
parents to ensure that their child’s clothing/property is
clearly named so that is does not get “lost”. At the moment
we have a couple of items of clothing which no–one
appears to own. If your child is missing a grey pullover or a
blue zip jacket please see Mrs Lutz to claim them. Any
future unclaimed items will be donated to charity at the end
of the term.
Congratulations to Michael and Hayden who
recently celebrated their birthdays .
HATS
Their have been a number of children who cannot find their
hats. Sometimes pen will wash off hats after a number of
wears, so please check if this is the case or use a fabric pen
so alleviate this problem. Hats are supposed to remain at
school for use there however if they do go home for
washing please ensure that they return with your child.
Can You Solve It??
VANAUTU DAY
We will be having a free dress day to raise funds for those
affected by the cyclone in Vanuatu on Friday, 15th May.
We are asking everyone to dress tropical for the day and
bring along a gold coin donation to put towards this worthy
cause. We are also asking for donations of vegetable seeds
(YATES brand only).
2016 PREP ENROLMENTS
Enrolments are being taken now for Prep in 2016. Children
born between 1st July, 2010 and 30th June, 2011 are eligible
