The Division is also a leading provider of English language settlement and work preparation programs for migrants and refugees with more than 21,000 clinets in FY11 An opportunity for a full time Student Services Officer, responsible for providing student services at Perth has become available. The Student Services Officer will be responsible for the efficient delivery of student services and for providing outstanding customer service to Navitas English students. This position would ideally suit someone who is well presented, enthusiastic, organised and has high levels of customer service. Areas of Responsibility Navitas English Perth is seeking to recruit a Student Services Officer who will be responsible for: Reception duties Student enquiries Data entry of student details into the student management system Invoicing and receipting of student fees Issuing of student documents – attendance letters, student cards, certificates etc Managing student and academic staff appointments Booking students on Navitas English social club activities Other administration and customer service tasks as required Selection Criteria Essential Ability to deliver an excellent standard of customer service in a busy environment Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise work Excellent written and verbal communication skills Culturally sensitive and patient Ability to work within a team and independently Strong sales focus when dealing with potential clients Proficient in MS Office High school certificate or higher Desirable Knowledge of the ELICOS industry Experience in an administration role Certificate in business administration or related qualification or experience A second language, preferably Italian, Mandarin or Arabic Applicants must a valid visa to work permanently in Australia What we offer An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate. The position will be an employee of NES Pty Ltd and will be responsible for duties associated with both NES and NE Pty Ltd (NE). In this document all references to NES include references to NE. Principal accountabilities 1. Administration Support Provides high quality administration support though performing the following administrative tasks: general reception duties; answering the phone, collecting and distributing mail; entering student data including address and contact information in to the Student Management System as required; ensuring that student information in the Student Management System is kept up to date and accurate; booking of student appointments with academic staff; invoicing and receipting of student fees; ensuring campus administration procedures and documentation is kept up-to-date and accurate; ensuring reception area and student areas are kept clean and tidy; preparing student arrival documents for day one intakes; ensuring stationary supplies are monitored and orders are done as required; performing other administrative, accommodation and reception duties as required. 2. Customer Service Ensures high quality student services and customer service to clients is provided by: corresponding with overseas agents/clients in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring that their queries are answered and accommodation/transfer details are confirmed in accordance with company 24 hour turn-around policy; assisting with day one student orientation; assisting with student graduation; assisting with centre events e.g. fundraising, morning teas; issuing student documents including attendance letters and certificates, as required; Page 3 of 4 assisting with general public relations (showing prospective students around the centre) where required; liaising with head office admissions and marketing teams when required, to ensure student needs are met; day-to-day liaison and communication with students, clients, and other stakeholders utilising a range of authorised communication channels, including official social media sites, in accordance with company policy. 3. Activities Program Support promotion of the activities program to students and clients; invoicing and receipting of activity bookings; liaison with activity/excursion providers as required; escorting students on activities/excursions when required. 4. Records Management and Client Privacy Ensures accurate and efficient management and maintenance of NES and NE databases and records management by: maintaining appropriate computerised records and databases; ensuring privacy regulations are understood and implemented; ensuring client records and personal information are stored securely according to NES and NE privacy policy; cooperating with other NES and ATTC and NE staff and external agencies in a way which ensures NES and ATTC and NE comply with privacy regulations. 5. Safe Working Environment Contributes to the maintenance of a safe working environment by: maintaining local workplaces that are safe and without risk to health; ensuring relevant occupational health and safety regulations are complied with at local workplaces; ensure that they are aware of health and safety requirements, understand evacuation procedures and know who the first aiders are at the centre.
