 Was awarded a $2000 Berklund Undergraduate Research Scholarship to fund research
 Morphologically analyzes undigested prey items (bones, hair, etc…) found in coyote scats
 Systematically took genetic samples from coyote scats and extracted DNA

 Planned activities such as highway litter clean up and fundraisers for disaster relief throughout
high-school, and volunteered throughout high school as a tutor for algebra and calculus I.
