Application
Operational Use
RAK-S-type appliance has been developed for cleaning the air from
welding fumes arising at mobile or stationary workplaces. The device
is efficient in capturing the dry, as well as viscous dusts, that arise
during welding the oil-laden steel sheet and while using the antispattering liquids in large amounts. The device is not equipped with
a waste container to collect impurities. Those are captured within
the structure of the compact filter, being the basic filtering element
in the device. Additionally, there is also a spunbond filter, absorbing
the part of gaseous contamination. At the moment the filters reach
the extreme pollution degree, replace them for new – they cannot be
submit to regeneration.
Structure
Mobile version (RAK-M) is designed for installation of extraction
arms on its top cover. Stationary – wall-mounted version (RAK-H)
extraction arms have to be installed at the housing bottom. The
device is manufactured in three sizes, adapted for installing of
one, two or three extraction arms of Ø160 mm diameter and of
2- or 3-metre-workrange. The appliance is operated by means of a
control unit. In the mobile version, the control unit is built-in on the
housing, whereas for the stationary version, the control unit has to be
installed, in a convenient place chosen by User.
Periodical maintenance of the filter consists in:
• periodical cleaning the pre-filter of wire-mesh,
• periodical replacement of the filtering pad and the carbon
spunbond (every several months),
RAK consists of subsequent elements:
• steel housing,
• periodical replacement of the compact filter (period depends on
the intensity of use).
• radial fan,
* On demand we deliver RAK-S filtering units equipped with
a pressure control that indicates the replacement necessity of
the compact filter (signal lamp).
• pre-filter – wire mesh of 0,8x0,25 mm holes,
• filtering pad – class G-3,
• compact filter – class F-9,
• active carbon impregnated spunbond filter,
• control unit,
• castor assembly for the mobile version, or a set of brackets for the
wall mounted version.
