2015-2016 Academic Year A Northern Oklahoma College education is an excellent investment in your future. Scholarship awards are offered each year to qualified students whose participation, academic achievement, and/or leadership efforts merit recognition. To be considered for scholarships, applicants are required to complete the Free Application for Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov within 30 days of accepting a scholarship award AND complete the Institutional Scholarship Application Form online at www.noc.edu/scholarships along with any required additional documentation. NOTE: All financial aid will be primary source of funding education. Applicants applying for the Presidential Leadership Scholarship must submit an application by February 20. Priority deadline for all other scholarships is February 20 with scholarships awarded to qualified applicants on a first come, first serve basis. The NOC Judging Team, consisting of freshman and sophomore members, is an excellent opportunity for Ag students to develop skills in live animal evaluation and selection while attaining a degree in Agricultural Sciences. Judging Team Scholarship – 2 semester award, $1,250 resident tuition waivers or $2,750 non-resident tuition waivers, $1,350 room, $1,300 board (5 day meal plan) and $500 book waiver. Presidential Leadership Scholarship - 4 semester award based on academic and leadership achievements, incoming freshman with a 25 ACT, 3.6 GPA – $1,350 resident tuition waiver, $880 fees, $500 books waiver, $2,000 room, and $1,300 board (5 day meal plan). Academic Scholarship - 4 semester award, incoming freshman with a 24 ACT and 3.5 GPA, priority given to students who meet PLC criteria and apply - $1,000 towards resident tuition, $750 towards room. Valedictorian/Salutatorian Scholarship - 4 semester award, incoming freshman identified from high school - $7500 towards resident tuition, $300 towards room. Freshman Regents - 2 semester award, incoming freshman with a 2.6 GPA - $425 towards resident tuition. Sophomore Regents - 2 semester award, returning student with 30 credit hours with a 2.6 GPA - $500 towards resident tuition. Dr. Bob Matthiesen - 4 semester award, $1,250 resident tuition, must have participated in NOC Ag Interscholastic Contest in high school. Crumrine Auctioneer Judging Scholarship - 2 semester, $1,000 cash per year, sophomore member on the Ag Judging Team. Calvin and Cristy Crumrine Scholarship - 2 semester, $1,000 cash per year, freshman majoring in Agriculture. Harvey Herrington Memorial Scholarship - 2 semester, $1,000 cash per year, freshman or sophomore majoring in Agriculture. Kreger/Sheets Memorial Scholarship - 2 semester, $500 cash per year, student majoring in Agriculture. Hazel West Litzenberger Memorial Scholarship - 2 semester, $800 cash per year, high school graduate who is majoring in Agriculture or an Agriculture related field. Northern Divisional Books - 1 semester, $500 cash, returning student in the Agriculture, Science & Engineering Division. Tom and Judy Poole Scholarship in Agriculture - 2 semester, $500 cash per year, incoming freshman majoring in Agriculture.
