“New aspects of neurogastroenterology, motility
Transcription
More and more patients expect cures or elimination of their symptoms. In disorders of neurogastroenterology these expectations are often difficult to meet. This patient group is becoming larger as we are now aware of the population of IBD patients with IBS symptoms despite inflammatory remission. We still lack knowledge for understanding and treating disorders of motility and pain sufficiently. The way forward is as always: more research and systematic approaches in the clinic. So join us for this year’s update of the hot topics in neurogastroenterology and imaging guided by a group of international experts. As always, the day will be organized with: • • Lectures held by international experts Presentation of cases from the clinic with votes on specific questions stimulating discussions The • • • target groups are: Young doctors in gastroenterology and surgery Specialists in gastroenterology and surgery Nurses and others with an interest in motility disorders Frederik Hviid-Jensen, DK 9.50 Epidemiology of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) Tine Jess, DK 10.10 Epidemiology of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) Johan Burish, DK 10.30 Break and exhibition Session II: Non-pharmacological treatments - a mechanistic approach 11.00 Diet and gluten sensitivity Knut Lundin, NO 11.20 Acupuncture and electroceuticals Adam Farmer, UK 11.40 Hypnosis Jenny Löydahl, SE 12.00 Lunch Session III: Opioid induced bowel dysfunction (OIBD) 13.00 Three cases of OIBD 14.00 Break and exhibition Asbjørn Mohr Drewes & Jakob Lykke Poulsen, DK Session IV: Pancreas imaging: Step wise algorithm approach 14.30 Conventional ultrasound Georg Dimcevski, NO 14.50 MRI Jens Brøndum Frøkjær, DK 15.10 Endoscopic ultrasound Bjørn Linquist, SE We hope to see you, 15.30 Closing remarks Lotte Fynne Steering board of SAGIM 15.45 SAGIM general assembly SWIFT DABADKKK This year the meeting is free for all doctors in training, participants from outside Denmark, and nurses.
