Opening Welcome, Introduction to Water DTU and the Partner Seminar DTU Provost Henrik C. Wegener Center leader Professor Peter Steen Mikkelsen, DTU Environment Speakers INNO+VIP – Partnership for Water Efficient Industrial Production involving multiple DTU departments. Jørn Rasmussen, Vice President, Industry, DHI Water DTU is the virtual Center for Water Activities at DTU, which aims to increase the quality and extent of research and education within the water field at DTU by utilising synergies across departments – making DTU a stronger partner for external collaborators. 12 departments currently participate in Water DTU. Biomimetic membranes - from basic science to applied research seen in the light of public-private innovation. Claus Hélix-Nielsen, Asso. Prof., DTU Env & Vice President PPP/Int.devel., Aquaporin Leaders from the Danish water industry will present and discuss their views on water, water innovation and the prospects of increasing collaborating between DTU and the surrounding society on water. The programme will be concluded with a panel discussion followed by a reception with beer from DTU Bryghus. Industrial PhD and postdocs – university collaboration to boost development and attract human resources. Erik Bundgaard, Vice President, Krüger A/S, Water treatment technology in Grundfos - how to be an entrepreneur in a big organization. Wilbert van de Ven, Research manager, Grundfos Listen, learn and deliver – on knowledge-needs and jobs in international water consultancy.
