National Development Institute – Sector Access Program Partners - Pg. 2
I. What is Sector Access?
The Internal Revenue Service reports that charitable organizations spent
$86,140,000,000 with for-profit enterprises in 2011
Like any other for-profit organization, nonprofits and ministries spend billions of dollars each
year with vendors and suppliers of equipment and services that ensure these organizations
accomplish their mission. National Development Institute’s Sector Access ensures nonprofits,
ministries & churches are introduced to companies that provide the services, products &
support they need to do their good work. Simply put, Sector Access introduces for-profit
enterprises to nonprofit customers who benefit from their offerings. (See Appendix A for a list of
current Program Partners)
II. What is the National Development Institute?
When foundations, nonprofits and ministries invest in civil society a child’s health, a student’s
dream or a family’s future is made secure. National Development Institute nurtures and
leverages philanthropy by supplying funders and organizations the capacity building research
and education they require to advance their mission.
NDI is a 501(c)3 nonprofit committed to charities and ministries that support education,
healthcare, human welfare, the arts and environment.
