GENERAL ASSEMBLY • Before assembling model, study diagram carefully. • For best results, assemble model exactly in the order indicated. • Take time to familiarize yourself with all the parts and their corresponding part numbers. • Carefully cut the parts from the plastic tree supports and remove any burrs. STAINLESS STEEL PHOTO-ETCH PARTS A sheet of stainless steel photo-etch parts is included to provide a higher level of detail. Refer to photo-etched part number during construction for the position of remaining burs with a file or sandpaper. When necessary parts should be bent around a pencil or dowel rod to conform to the plastic part. Use Cyanoacrylate -etch parts. All parts should be test fit without glue before finally gluing into place. Glue hose 153 from engine to fuse box 418. Glue air dams 151 & 152 to frame assembly as shown. 134 NOTE: To mount photo-etched part 26, drill two small holes to match the spacing of the pegs on the part. Position the holes underneath the dashboard to the left of the steering column. Glue and attach front roll pan 4 and rear roll pan 5 to body 1a. Glue rear deck 3a to body. Glue upper lever 29 to underside of arch 6 or 87. Glue arch into body assembly. Glue and attach front canopy 108 and rear canopy 109 or 110 to body. TURBINE CHASSIS 134 P32 NOTE: To curve photo-etched parts 4 & 5, bend gently around a pencil, or similar round tubing before gluing to dashboard. BODY Slide engine assembly into engine bay and glue to engine support bars, driveshaft and turbine exhaust pipes. Insert rim 204 into tire. Glue brake drum plate 135 into rim 204. Glue bat spinner 95 to center of rim 204. Repeat for the three remaining wheel assemblies. Glue completed wheels to each of the axle shafts as shown. P26 39B 2A Insert rim 204 into tire.
