The CALABASAS SADDLERY TRAINER GOLF CART RAFFLE
Calabasas Saddlery & Camelot Events wants to thank all of you hard working Trainers for attending our shows! We want to encourage the very important “grass roots of our sport. The “grass roots”
riders represent the future and the health of the equestrian community. The Golf Cart Raffle will be
for Trainers attending 1 day or 2 day horse shows only. Trainers will receive one raffle ticket for each
show they attend. They will receive 2 extra tickets if we receive all their complete entries by the show’s
closing date. This award can only be won once by the same person. The drawing for the Golf Cart will
be held on Saturday at the Fall Festival Horse Show Nov. 5-6. Must be present to win .
THE MONTANA SILVERSMITHS EQUITATION CHALLENGE
Camelot Events is presenting once again the Montana Silversmiths Equitation Challenge.

Class 633
$1000 USHJA Nat. Hunter Derby
Open to all horses and riders; however, distances will not be adjusted for ponies.. Riders, owners, and trainers must be current
active members of USEF and USHJA before the start of the class (GR202). Riders must complete a USHJA exhibitor declaration
form to receive points. If the exhibitor declaration form is not complete and submitted to the show office prior to the conclusion
of the competition, riders will not receive points in their respective hunter divisions for the derby class. There is no limit to the
number or horses that a rider may ride. Horses are not required to show in any other hunter classes at the horse show.
The first round will be a regular hunter classic course consisting of at least ten fences at 3’0” in height with four option fences at
3’5” in height. The top 12 entries will return for a second round over a handy hunter course consisting of at least eight fences at
3’0” in height with four option fences at 3’5” in height. Two judges shall sit together and throw one score. After the judges’ score
is given, one point will be added for each high option fence jumped (maximum of four points per round). Scores from both
rounds will be added together to determine placings. Horses entered in this class will not be required to jog for soundness. Any
unsoundness during the competition will be reflected in the scores from the judges. Winners must ride for awards.
Attire: Formal/Dress Attire (per HU126): white or buff breeches, shad belly , dark or scarlet coat, hunt colors coat or official
sponsor or team jacket permitted.
Ribbons and awards for champion, reserve, and 3rd-12th will be awarded for the overall win. Ribbons will be awarded to the top
highest placing junior riders and the top amateur riders. This class will need a minimum of 8 entries to be held.
Please see detailed specifications at www.ushja.org. Also be available in the horse show office.
