long block on the market !!
Pro Series Street Engines
LC Engineering’s Pro Series Street Engines are designed to get
maximum performance utilizing the stock Toyota fuel injection
system. Like every LCE product, it’s designed for performance and
reliability. Available for the 22R, 22RE, 2RZ & 3RZ Toyota trucks.
The Pro Series engines feature big bore forged pistons, gas nitride
piston rings and ARP cylinder head studs for more power and
reliability. Each engine includes a ported and polished cylinder
head featuring over-sized stainless steel valves and performance
camshaft profiles. This 2.5 liter engine is a big step up in power
and torque over stock.
The high-torquing EFI Pro Stroker Engine will give you the pulling
power you need. Identical to the EFI Pro Engine, but with the
added torque of a 5mm Stroker Crankshaft. At 2.6 liters, this is
the largest 4-cylinder you can swap into your EFI and still utilize
the stock fuel injection. Available for the 22RE only.

LC Engineering has developed the next generation of high performance parts
and accessories for the Toyota 3RZ engine. Working directly with World Racing
on their Pro-Modified Front Wheel Drive Dragster, LCE has created a brand new
product line. The new LCE 3RZ Pro Turbo Long Block can produce in excess of
1,200 HP at less than 10,000 RPM’s.
A majority of that new power can be attributed to our new Billet Aluminum Dry
Sump Oil Pan, Billet Aluminum Valve Cover and the LCE Pro Front Belt Drive
Assembly. All of these custom parts and accessories are included with the long
block, but can also be purchased separate for those with their own engine building
program.

Anytime you rebuild an engine, there will be a certain
amount of “resurfacing” that has to be performed to
either the block or cylinder head. This is also known
as “decking” the block.
Sometimes it’s important to know just how much
“total decking” has been done to a block, especially
if you know it’s been rebuilt before. This will give
you an idea of how much decking has been done
in the past and a better idea of what you have to
work with.

We begin with a select seasoned block. They go through a process of pressure
testing and hot tanking, then get decked, bored and honed to the specifications
required. Finally, all of the thread holes are thoroughly cleaned and chased with

cores are rigorously tested and inspected for the utmost quality.
Only the highest quality and most select cranks are used for our

LC Engineering’s Pro Crankshafts offer durability, strength and
extended bearing life. The “standard weight” Pro Crankshaft is good
for off-road and applications where “stock” crankshaft rules are in
effect. The Pro Lightweight Crankshaft is 5 lbs. lighter than stock.
This crankshaft is knife edged to produce less crank “windage” and
faster acceleration without sacrificing strength. The Pro Lightweight
Crankshaft is a must for high rpm racing applications. Sizes available
for either our Pro Series connecting rods or in the factory Toyota
rod journal sizes.
Street Performer Crankshafts go through a full magna flux inspection
to check for cracks or flaws. We precision grind each crank to
.25mm (.010”) under size on both the main and rod journals. We
then micro polish each crank to a mirror finish for longer bearing
life. This crankshaft is a direct replacement for the factory crank.
Comes with new crank plugs and keyways.
Keys, Plugs, Scrapers, Savers
We have all the odds and ends to complete your engine build including a Crankshaft
Scraper which will prevent crank “windage” and drag. By removing the excess oil
from the crankshaft and reducing oil foaming, it will increase horsepower, longevity

Valve-To-Piston Clearances
VERY IMPORTANT - Anytime a modification is made to a cylinder head or
block, such as milling or decking, increase in valve size, larger camshaft or
valve train components, it is extremely important to check and establish
piston-to-valve clearance. The primary reason is to make sure that the
pistons and valves do not hit each other. Contact between a piston and
valve can cause extreme engine damage or complete engine failure.
Piston-to-valve clearance can be measured in several ways. A common
method, also know as the “Clay” method, can be performed. LC
Engineering recommends a minimum of 0.080” (eighty thousandths) for
piston-to-valve clearance on most applications.
With the cylinder head removed, spread modeling clay evenly across the
top of the #1 piston with the piston at TDC. Place the cylinder head;
with the #1 intake and exhaust rocker arm lash set at 0 (zero), on top
of the block using a crushed head gasket. Secure the head in place by
tightening the head bolts/studs so they are snug. It is not necessary to
torque the cylinder head down to the block since you will be removing it
after this next step.
Connect the timing chain to the upper sprocket with the cam set at the
correct timing. Now rotate the engine slowly clockwise, by hand, a
single revolution back to TDC. Loosen the head bolts/nuts and remove
the cylinder head from the block. You should now see some impressions
in the clay from the valves. Using an Exacto Knife, slice the clay from
top to bottom where the intake and exhaust valves left an indentation.
With a set of calipers or depth gauge, measure the thickness of the

PLEASE NOTE - It should be relatively easy to rotate the engine
clockwise with a ratchet attached to the crankshaft. If you feel any
interference, or the engine will not rotate any further, STOP!! Any
amount of force placed on the valves or piston will cause damage.
Most likely the pistons will need “notching” in order to continue with

Street Piston Sets
High quality cast aluminum pistons sets offer quality for less than
OEM prices. Piston sets come complete with pistons, rings, wrist
pins and wrist pin retainers. Available in standard and oversized
bores.
Our hypereutectic aluminum alloy pistons have a hi-silicon
content . These pistons are much stronger than a regular cast
piston. You can run tighter skirt clearances with a hypereutectic
piston than with a forged piston and avoid that cold start piston
slap. In addition to strength, the hypereutectic improves
resistance to scuffs and seizure, and generally runs cooler.
Hypereutectic aluminum has 15% less thermal expansion than
conventional piston alloys. The silicon keeps the heat in the
combustion chamber and prevents heat transfer, allowing the
piston to run cooler. The silicon gives the hypereutectic it’s thermal
& wear characteristics.

structure. It is often heavier since the manufacturer has to increase wall
thickness in order to achieve sufficient strength. The heat expansion
cannot be controlled and is therefore often not completely round
since the piston pin requires some material on the inside. They are
also produced in bulk with most manufacturers only producing sizes
that are close to factory specifications. This also makes them more
affordable.

hammered into a mold forming the piston and by utilizing state-of-the-art
CNC machines, most manufacturers can maintain exact specifications
and tolerances. This makes them structurally more durable. Forged
pistons are well known in the racing and performance industry because
of their ability to withstand more heat, higher rpm’s, higher boost and
higher temperatures. Another advantage to a forged piston is that they
can be individually made to any custom size or specification without
the high cost of casting.

Cast Pistons vs. Forged Pistons
One of the most common questions is about which piston to buy. The
marquee is one factor, but sometimes we have to choose between
a cast and forged piston. This article cannot give you the definitive
answer to which piston to use, but some facts must be shared based
upon experience.
A cast shaped component means that the material has been melted
and then poured into a mold that basically shapes the piston. The
advantages are many, for example: a possibility to add other components
like silicone, carbon, zinc and so on in order to gain certain properties.
The aluminum itself doesn’t build up inner tension as much. It is
cheap. The density of the material doesn’t increase which means it
could be kept light.
Here at LCE, the philosophy is quite simple. The choice between using a
cast piston or a forged piston is dictated by the application. If you plan
on running normal octane gas and it falls into our “street” application,
we recommend using the cast aluminum pistons. If you plan on using
high octane, high compression or high boost for your application, then
we recommend using a forged aluminum piston.

Considering that most of the potential for increased power is found in the cylinder
head, this is a very important area to improve. We use the latest in flow testing and
machining equipment to test and develop our cylinder heads. All of our heads are flow
matched to ensure the highest standards. The air flow path involves several systems:
carburetion, intake manifold, cylinder head intake ports, combustion chamber design,
valve size, exhaust ports and header size.

The Tacoma 2RZ & 3RZ cylinder heads offer more power and torque than
their predecessor with dual camshafts and 16 valves. LCE offers two styles
of performance cylinder heads for the 2RZ & 3RZ; Pro-Street Series and ProRace Series.
The Pro-Street Series cylinder heads offer more power and torque than the
factory set-up by including over-sized stainless steel valves, “shim-under”
style cam buckets for larger camshafts and our famous LCE porting. This
head will work fine with the stock camshaft profiles or step up to the LCE Pro
Series 1 camshaft set for added horsepower and torque.

When purchasing a new camshaft, you should always consider replacing the
valve springs and more importantly, the rocker arms. 99% of all camshaft
problems are caused from mismatched valve springs and related components.
LCE offers two types of camshaft kits; the Street Camshaft Kit and the Pro
Camshaft Kit. These kits will provide you with all of the necessary valve train
components to build your own high rpm head.

Common Causes of Premature Camshaft Failure
The key parts of any camshaft are the lobes. As the camshaft spins, the lobes open and close the intake and exhaust valves in time with the motion of the
piston. It turns out there is a direct relationship between the shape of the cam lobes and the way the engine performs in different speed ranges.
It is highly recommended that you change the rocker arms with every cam change and keep them together as a package or kit. The reason is, rocker arms
burnish themselves to each cam lobe. As we know, each cam is ground on a different angle and each rocker arm wears at a different angle. If you use rocker
arms from one camshaft to another, they will most likely trough into the new cam lobes.
Here are the four most common causes of premature camshaft failure:
1) Improper break in procedure. Excessive or long cranking on initial start up. Engine must start immediately and run at 1600-1800 rpm’s for 20-30
minutes.
2) Improper rocker geometry, changed by: increased camshaft lobe lift, valve tip height and rocker stand height.
3) Improper valve springs. Inadequate clearance between coils (coil bind), spring pressure too high or spring pressure too light.
4) Reground camshafts with reduced base circle diameters will cause premature lobe and rocker wear.
Note: To correct rocker arm contact pattern, mark the rocker arm with a black ink marker, rotate engine two (2) complete revolutions, inspect contact pattern.
If ink is wiped off nose or heel of rocker arm, you will need to adjust the rocker shaft stands.
Usually milling the stands .015” / .020” will center the pattern.
Always check valve to piston clearance. The minimum clearance should be .100”, if using an adjustable cam gear, check with full advance and retard to assure
adequate clearance.

Valve Train
Rocker Arms & Rocker Shafts
When installing a LC Engineering camshaft, we suggest replacing the rocker arms to
prevent premature camshaft failure. Rocker arms are available separately or in complete
assemblies including rockers, adjusters, nuts, shafts and stands.
The stock Toyota rocker shafts have two oiling holes on top of the shafts, very shallow
oiling grooves and designed to transport oil throughout the rocker arm’s bore. Because
these shafts have proven marginal in high rmp racing applications, we now offer hard
chromed Pro Rocker Shafts with four oiling holes. These guarantee adequate oil delivery
at high RMP.

LCE’s turbo kits are designed for use on the Toyota 22RE and 2RZ powered trucks, 4runners and Celicas. Whether for street or competitive drag racing, LCE can configure
a custom turbo kit for your specific needs.
The LC Engineering Pro Turbo Kit is designed to utilize our Pro Fuel injection System.
Along with larger injectors, the Pro Fuel Injection can be programmed to provide the
correct fuel and ignition curve for a performance turbo engine. Please review the Turbo
Engine set-up guidelines below for issues that need to be addressed when building a
performance turbo engine.

High rpm race engines often overdrive the water pump making the engine’s cooling
system inefficient. These crankshaft Power Pulleys reduce water pump and alternator
rpm providing better cooling and reducing loss of power. Each 4” diameter Crankshaft
Power Pulley is made from 6061 T6 aluminum and is then hard anodized. Use the Single
Groove Power Pulley for race applications using a single belt. The Triple Groove Power
Pulley allows the use of power steering and even AC for street/race applications. It is
recommended to use our Adjustable Timing Tag with these crank Pulleys.

We designed our Circle Track Oil Pans to minimize air being sucked into the oil pickup
tube. Our pan extends the bottom sump towards the right side with baffles and a
windage tray inside the pan to control oil slosh. The oil pick-up tube has also been
extended to reach the wider and deeper sump.
Custom made Dry Sump and large capacity oil pans are available for both the Tacoma
and 22R engines. Each pan is made custom for your application.

Our oil coolers offer maximum performance in hostile environments. Our
headered style coolers featured 5/8” copper tubes, copper headers and
aluminum cooling fins. This cooler design provides the highest BTU transfer
with the least amount of resistance to high volume flow. Single row coils
provide optimum cooling in low air flow
environments.
Fast and easy oil filter changes are now
possible. The relocation kit contains all of
the necessary parts to move the oil filter to
a more convenient location. Can also be used
when installing a custom oil cooler.

Circle Track Oil Pans
Oil control in a
20R/22R circle track
application is very
critical in the heat
of battle. Too many
race motors have self
destructed when the
oil is sloshed up on

the right side of the
pan during turns. In
those few seconds, the oil pick-up tube is starved for oil
and the pump will draw air. Air doesn’t lube the motor very
well and stock oil pan configurations won’t do the job.
To handle those extreme and demanding conditions, LC
Engineering has developed a pan with an extension of
the bottom sump towards the right side with baffles and
a windage tray inside the pan to control oil from sloshing.
The oil pick-up tube has also been extended to reach the
wider and deeper sump.
The addition of a crankshaft oil scraper to remove the
excess oil off of the crank will also help with oil control
and increase horsepower.

Fuel Pumps
Remember, the more horsepower you make, the more fuel your engine needs. You
simply need more capacity for serious performance. If you’re still running an old
mechanical pump, it’s time to replace it with an electric pump. Not only does the
mechanical pump add friction to the engine, it also can’t deliver the constant flow
and performance of an electric pump. Be sure to get one our block-off plates when
replacing a mechanical pump.
Note: Carbureted engines use low pressure pumps and
fuel injection requiring a much higher pressure.

Throttle Bodies
The LCE Big Bore Throttle Body is just one more step towards the overall performance
of the 22RE, 2RZ and 3RZ Toyota engines. Big Bore Throttle Bodies are modified to
improve throttle response and airflow. Utilizing a factory throttle body, we first plunge
bore it 3.5mm larger than stock. Next, it is taper bored to 4mm oversized. Finally, a
new throttle plate and new shaft seals are installed. This modification will increase the
airflow by 12% resulting in improved throttle response and acceleration. They also
greatly contribute to “Laminar Flow”, which streamlines the flow in a fluid that is near a
solid boundary. This is a more efficient means of moving air and fuel into the cylinder.
This modification will allow the air coming into the engine to completely
fill the plenum with higher-pressure air. Throttle Bodies with stock bore
make the air rush into the plenum violently and will not allow the motor
to fill the cylinders completely. Bored Throttle Bodies allow the cylinders
to fill more completely and be more consistent creating more power. Big
bore throttle bodies work great with a header and K&N Filter Charger Kit.

the Toyota 22R/22RE/2RZ/3RZ engines in three different
configurations. Based on the SDS EM-3 system, the LC Pro
Injection Kit is a fully programmable, stand alone, engine
management system designed to replace the factory Toyota
injection computer or convert your carbureted engine to
fuel injection using an OEM EFI intake manifold and throttle
body. It provides excellent results with naturally aspirated
engines, super chargers, turbo chargers and all types of
fuels in both off-road and street applications.
This system does not require expensive software or a
laptop computer for programming. Using speed/density
airflow sensing, the LC Pro Injection allows you to eliminate the bulky and restrictive OEM airflow meter. Full sensor diagnostics
and programming are available in real-time.
Kits #2 and #3 include a fully programmable high output ignition system. You set the advance curve along with rev limiter and
timing retard function for turbo/super charged applications. The Pro Fuel Injection is the most flexible and powerful engine

same high horsepower designs are now being produced in 304 stainless steel
and ceramic coated for the the ultimate in durability. Stainless steel resists rust
and corrosion better than any coating or plating process. Ceramic coating helps
move the heat from the exhaust through the headers instead of out towards the
engine compartment.
Our laser-cut header flanges are cut to not only allow the use of OEM exhaust
gaskets, but to insure the highest quality possible. These gaskets feature a metal
crush ring and a heat deflector for the plug wires. No cheap paper gaskets to
blow out with any LCE header kit.

4-Runners. Our very own Pro Flow Exhaust System is constructed from 16 gauge 304
stainless steel tubing and ceramic coated to ensure long life. Each system is mandrel
bent with a fully welded performance muffler and a polished 3” beveled exhaust tip.

Spark Plugs – How to identify the Good, the Bad & the Ugly!
Spark plugs are one of the most misunderstood components of an engine. Numerous questions have surfaced over the years, leaving many
people confused. Spark plug reading is a science all its own, but there are some rules of thumb.
Spark plugs are the “window” into your engine (your only eyewitness to the combustion chamber), and can be used as a valuable diagnostic
tool. Like a patient’s thermometer, the spark plug displays symptoms and conditions of the engine’s performance. The experienced tuner
can analyze these symptoms to track down the root cause of many problems, or to determine air/fuel ratios.
SPARK PLUG BASICS:
The spark plug has two primary functions:

To ignite the air/fuel mixture
·
To remove heat from the combustion chamber
Spark plugs transmit electrical energy that turns fuel into working energy. A sufficient amount of voltage must be supplied by the ignition
system to cause it to spark across the spark plug’s gap. This is called “Electrical Performance.”
The temperature of the spark plug’s firing end must be kept low enough to prevent pre-ignition, but high enough to prevent fouling. This is
called “Thermal Performance” and is determined by the heat range selected.
It is important to remember that spark plugs do not create heat, they can only remove heat. The spark plug works as a heat
exchanger by pulling unwanted thermal energy away from the combustion chamber, and transferring the heat to the engine’s cooling
system. The heat range is defined as a plug’s ability to dissipate heat.

Choosing the correct combination of Clutch and Flywheel
for different driving applications can be confusing, and yet,
it’s a critical decision. The wrong combination can set you
back in the performance and reliability that you’re looking
for.
Lightweight flywheels are designed for use in most 2WD
applications such as street, circle track and drag racing.
Factory Toyota flywheels range in weight between 22 and
24 pounds. A lighter flywheel carries less reciprocating
weight, which in turn, allows the driver to bring the RPM’s
of the engine up faster and shift through the gears quicker.
LC Engineering manufactures a full range of lightweight
flywheels from 9 to 16 pounds.
Heavy or high-torque type flywheels are best used on 4WD
applications such as street, off-road, off-road racing and
rock crawling. A heavy flywheel has a greater inertia bank
and allows the engine to keep the torque range it was built
for. This is ideal for vehicles with larger tires and taller
gears. LC Engineering manufactures a 30 pound (8 7/8”)
and a 35 pound (9 1/4”) heavy-duty flywheel for your hightorque needs.

Cooling System Maintenance
When Summer Time is here, that means the Cooling System in your Toyota will be working overtime. Therefore, it is important to maintain your engine at
the optimum operating temperature by keeping your Cooling System in TIP-TOP SHAPE.
RADIATOR CAP:
THERMOSTAT:
Check for worn or broken seals. A 12-lb. cap is usually sufficient.
Check to see if it is stuck in the closed position.
Incorrect operation could lead to blown head gaskets and/or a cracked head and block.
WATER PUMP:
Check for leaks.
BELTS:
Check for cracks or glossy shine from slipping.
HOSES:
Check for cracks, leaks, or collapsed hoses.
COOLANT MIXTURE: A water/antifreeze mixture of 50/50 is the general recommendation although depending on climate and vehicle operation a
variation of this ratio is acceptable.
OPTIONS:
Since these motors do not carry a large amount of coolant, you may want to consider taking steps to increase the cooling efficiencies.
HEAVY-DUTY
RADIATORS:
Use additional cooling fins to dissipate the heat of the returning coolant faster to allow for better engine cooling.
OIL COOLERS:
A good option for extracting additional heat from the motor.

A moving vehicle has a certain amount of kinetic energy,
and the brakes have to remove this energy in order to stop.
How do the brakes do this? Each time you stop, your brakes
convert the kinetic energy to heat generated by the friction
between the pads and the disc.
Through the process of cross drilling
and slotting the rotors, not only are
the rotors much lighter in weight, but
they cool down much quicker and in
turn, will have less failure.

Anti-Sway Bars
TRD Sway Bars give your Toyota a flatter, more stable cornering stance: they are
typically 25% to 100% stiffer than stock. They are constructed of high-quality spring
steel, powder coated to prevent corrosion and road damage.
TRD Sway Bars work with either a stock suspension or a lowered vehicle. Most are solid
spring steel; bars for the Supra and Matrix are tubular, for decreased weight without
sacrificing strength and durability.

Detroit Locker (DET)
Probably the most durable design available, these are the king of traction differentials.
Usually causes banging and clunking, but gives 100% lock-up whenever traction is needed.
Unlocks when negotiating a turn so that the outer wheel can turn faster than the ring gear
and the inside wheel, with no needed interaction from the driver. New Sof-Locker design has
damping device to reduce banging and clunking, and includes a carrier case that is stronger
than stock except in 2 applications, where the original factory carrier case is used. Only the
10.5” 14 bolt truck and the Nissan V6 designs use the factory carrier case and these cases
are both very strong. (aftermarket) 1-year warranty
Detroit Truetrac (TT)
Based on the worm gear principal and works like clutch type positraction. Does not wear out,
not recommended for tall tires over 33”.
Detroit Truetracs are similar in design to the Gleason Torsen®, only the Truetracs hold up
well with reasonably tall tires. They use worm wheel gears that work on the same principle
as a worm gear. When the unit is loaded, the worm wheels are forced away from each other
and against the case. They develop locking torque by the light friction between the worm
wheels and the case. This light friction is multiplied by the ratio of the worm wheel which
depends on the size of the worm wheel relative to the size of the side gear. The manufacturer
can change the amount of torque biasing or lockup by simply changing the diameter of
the gears, or the pitch and spiral of the teeth. A larger difference in the size for the worm
wheels and side gears (smaller worm wheels and larger side gears) will increase the lockup
force. Increasing the pitch and spiral of the teeth will also increase the lockup forces. Like
everything, there is a limit as to how much lockup force is reasonable. Making the unit too
“aggressive” will cause tire scrub during everyday driving and will cause the unit to wear out
too quickly. All of the feedback that I have received from customers indicates that the unit
works very well for mud and snow, while going unnoticed during every day driving. When
used in situations like rocky trails where one wheel gets off the ground, the unit will not lock
up 100%. Light application of the brakes will help the differential engage more transferring
power to the tire that is still on the ground. For extreme situations where the vehicle will
have one wheel in the air often a locking differential provides better power transfer to the
wheel on the ground.
Detroit Truetracs are designed for medium duty 2WD and 4WD applications. They work well in
the front and rear, and are so smooth that there is little or no hint of resistance in the steering
wheel when used in front drive steering axles. Like the Gleason Torsen®, the Detroit Truetrac
does not bang or clunk, has no clutch chatter, does not wear out like clutch type positractions,
does not need limited slip additive, and needs no preload or clearance adjustments.
Almost sounds too good to be true doesn’t it? The only drawbacks to the Truetracs are their
inability to provide lockup 100% like a locking differential can. Although Gleason no longer
makes the Torsen® differential, the Detroit Truetrac is a proven design that is available for

Lock-Right (LR)(PT)
Mechanical locking mechanism that installs into the stock carrier case in place of the spider
and side gears. This is a very low price unit that is fairly easy for the average vehicle owner
to install if they are somewhat mechanically inclined. This unit was originally designed by
Power-Trax and is still produced by them. It has also been copied by Tractech in the form of an
“Easy Locker”. Works great for occasional off roaders, or for use in front differentials. This is a
mechanical locking device that drives with the same results to the wheels as a Detroit Locker,
but uses the standard carrier case and cross pin and does not include any parts to dampen
the banging and clunking associated with a locking differential. Provides 100% lockup when
traction is needed. The re-use of the original carrier case keeps the cost down but, offers no
more strength than the stock carrier case. Power-Trax offers a heavy duty “Zytanium” (this
is only a brand name for the material they choose not to disclose, not an actual material
that can be looked up in a metallurgy book) cross-pin shaft that lasts longer than the stock
cross-pin and is often necessary for differentials in which the stock cross-pin is too soft for
use with the Lock-Right. Most Lock-Right designs come with enough parts to replace all of
the internal side and pinion gears. A few of the Lock-Right designs use the stock side gears
which are used in conjunction with the new parts. These units include the 8” & 9” Ford, D70’s
with 2-piece case, and the Suzuki Samurai. It should be noted that the units for the Samurai
are available either with parts (couplers) to replace the side gears, or as a design that uses
the original side gears (without couplers). The design that uses the stock side gears actually
seems to hold up better and last longer than the design that replaces the side gears. Many
of the Lock-Rights built by Powertrax have been improved since the release of Tractech’s
Easy Locker and the Easy Lockers have not. (aftermarket) 2 yr warranty
ARB Air Locker:
The ARB Air Locker is a unique air operated unit, for which the locking action is controlled
by the driver with a push of a button inside the cab. A 12-volt air compressor (24 volt also
available) engages the unit in approximately 1 second and can be engaged at any vehicle
speed. 100% drive to each wheel when the unit is locked up. While the unit is unlocked there
are no handling problems, or additional wear problems. Unit can NOT be engaged while a
wheel or wheels are slipping. Any good pump that supplies 95 to 115 lbs. of air pressure will
work in place of the ARB pump. If the customer purchases both the ARB pump and the ARB
differential, all of the parts needed are included, even the wiring.

These twin-tube, high-strength shock/struts use more aggressive valving to reduce body
roll and improve response and overall cornering performance. They are designed to work
with the stock Celica springs, for excellent overall performance in normal driving situations,
or with TRD Lowering Springs for more extreme street or competition applications.
Multi-stage, velocity-sensitive valving offers a controlled, progressive ride over varying
driving and road conditions, for maximum tire contact and enhanced vehicle control.
TRD High-Performance Struts are built to last, with sintered iron pistons and guide rods
for corrosion and debris protection, micro-smooth, hard-chromed piston rods for long
oil seal life, and seamless cylinders and eye rings for excellent durability. Multi-lip seals
reduce friction and prevent oil contamination, and the check-valve design minimizes oil
foaming that can degrade damping during aggressive driving.

TRD Lowering Springs
The first step in improving handling performance is installing a set of TRD Lowering Springs.
They typically lower your vehicle from 1 to 1.5 inches, front and rear, lowering its center
of gravity for quicker turn-in, enhanced steering response and improved cornering.
TRD Lowering Springs have proven their advantage in extensive skidpad, slalom and highspeed road course testing.
The lowering effect also improves your vehicle’s looks, letting your wheels and tires fill

LCE ships UPS daily with the following services available: Ground,

are subject to a crate charge. Call our Customer Service line

Freight Damage
Damaged or lost goods are the responsibility of the carrier. Title
of merchandise passes to customer on delivery from common
carrier.
Parts Availability
We try our best to keep all merchandise in stock. However, in
manufacturing and supplying specialized parts, demand peaks
can occur during certain times of the year, which may delay delivery. If this does occur, your Customer Service Representative
will keep you informed as to expected delivery dates.
Back Orders
All back orders are held until product becomes available. If you
do not want any back order held, please inform the Customer
Service Representative at the time of ordering.
Emission Control
Unless stated, all merchandise sold by LCE, which may or may
not effect emissions control equipment, is sold as “Not Legal”
on pollution control motor vehicles. You, the purchaser, bear all

LCE Limited Warranty
All parts and accessories manufactured by LCE have a 90 day
limited warranty from the date of sale. This limited warranty
applies to any product, which, after careful inspection by LCE,
is found to have a defect in either materials or workmanship.
Parts used for racing or competition are not warranted for wear
or breakage under any circumstance. Any part which, in our
opinion, shows evidence of being used or installed contrary to
manufacturer’s instructions, and/or subjected to improper handling, packaging, or shipping by the customer will not be eligible
for exchange. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee or
refuse any exceptions. LCE shall not, under any circumstances,
be liable for any special incidental or consequential damages,
including, but not limited to, damage, or loss of property or
equipment, loss of profits or revenue, cost of purchased or replacement goods, or claims of customers of the purchase, which
may arise and/or result from sale, installation or use of these
engines, engine components, parts and/or accessories. No warranty on any Pro Series short block or long block. We cannot
accept returns on custom-ordered parts.
Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty
The manufacturer warrants most parts, usually for 90 days from
the date of purchase unless specified otherwise. All warranties
are included with your order. For electrical parts, please contact Customer Service. Some manufacturers require the parts be
sent directly to them.
Returns / Exchanges
Contact Customer Service to have an RGA number issued. A
copy of the original sales order must accompany all returns.
All returns must be sent prepaid – no collect shipments will be
accepted. Insure the returned part for its full value to protect
yourself against loss. Absolutely no returns after 30 days, unless as specified by Limited Warranty. Customer refused shipments are subject to a restocking fee. Cores must be received
within 60 days of purchase date for full core credit. When a
replacement part is sent, customer will have 10 days to return
the product that was sent in error, or be subject to a charge, plus
freight, for the full amount of that particular part.
Printing Errors
Although every effort has been made to proofread all copy prior
to printing, we do not accept responsibility for any typographical errors whether in pricing or content. All pricing is subject to

Any litigation or lawsuit arising as a result of any sale by LCE to
