Simplifying access to trustworthy medical care a brief introduction Twenty-five years ago, a group of local pediatricians, led by Robert G. Graw, M.D., realized that working parents needed care for their children in the evenings and on weekends. In 1989, the group opened Nighttime Pediatrics in Annapolis, Maryland. All rights reserved. a pioneer in urgent care Our Story 2016 • Righttime continues to expand into the Maryland communities of Waldorf, Catonsville, Bethesda, and Towson for a total of 17 locations and six counties. 2015 • Righttime Medical Care celebrates its 25th anniversary with a year of events and activities. 2014 • Righttime Medical Care opens its eleventh Care Care Center in Pikesville, Maryland, marking the first location in Baltimore County and the fifth county in its geographic reach. • Righttime opens in Germantown, Maryland, its fourth Care Center in Montgomery County. • Righttime Medical Care opens its thirteenth Care Care Center in Silver Spring, Maryland, which is the fifth in Montgomery County. 2013 • Righttime Medical Care expands its reach to four counties with the opening of its tenth Care Center in Frederick, Maryland. 2012 • The community of Olney, Maryland, is home to the latest Righttime Care Center. • Righttime Medical Care launches its concussion awareness program, HeadFirst Sports Injury and Concussion Care, in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. continued Copyright © 2016. Unique features include comfortable private seating. an outdoor wellness garden, engaging colors, textures and art, and environmentally conscious LED lighting, non-toxic paints and recycled materials. 2010 • Celebrating its 20th year, Nighttime unveils a vibrant new identity to highlight its purpose of providing urgent care services to patients of all ages. Under the new name of Righttime Medical Care, the company remains steadfast in its commitment to the same high-quality, convenient and affordable care for which it had always been known, but under an identity that would unify and strengthen its expansion. • Righttime Medical Care opens a Care Center just down the street from Arundel Mills Mall. • Righttime expands its hours for all locations from 9am to midnight. 2009 • Nighttime opens its Gaithersburg location, revealing an innovative new site design to soothe stressed parents, while touches of fun and sparkle appeal to younger patients. 2007 • Nighttime expands its hours to open at noon to be meet the increase in patient visits. • Nighttime’s hours again change to open 11am, still closing at midnight. • Dr. Graw commissions the Mobile Care Center to deliver Nighttime’s goal of caring for everyone, every day in communities through the region. Staffed by clinicians, the Mobile Care Center can be found at health and community events, and can assist the general public during states of emergency. 2006 • Nighttime Pediatrics & adult care too! opens its doors at the Howard County Health Park in Columbia, Maryland, marking the third county in the company’s geographic reach. 2002 • The Village at Waugh Chapel in Gambrills, Maryland, becomes home to the fourth Care Center. 1999 • A third Care Center in Rockville, Maryland opens, becoming the first urgent care center of its kind in Montgomery County, Maryland. 1998 • Nighttime changes its name to Nighttime Pediatrics & adult care too! in reponse to the growing demand for after-hours care for more than just younger patients and their parents. 1996 • Nighttime’s Care Center in Pasadena, Maryland, changes its name to Nighttime Pediatrics and parents too when parents of patients began requesting medical treatment for themselves. 1994 • Nighttime opens a second Care Center in Pasadena, Maryland. 1989 • Nighttime Pediatrics opens the doors to its first Care Center in Annapolis, Maryland. All rights reserved. a community model HeadFirst Concussion Care In June 2011, Righttime Medical Care CEO and Chief Pediatrician Robert G. Graw, Jr., M.D., initiated an innovative task force, known as the Concussion Consortium, with the goal of protecting student-athletes from head injury. Formed as a result of groundbreaking legislation passed in Maryland in May 2011, the group is comprised of top neurologists, orthopedists, neuropsychologists, educators, coaches and certified athletic trainers who meet regularly to develop protocol for diagnosing, managing and treating concussions. Years of research, training, and planning by HeadFirst’s Concussion Consortium resulted in the launch of HeadFirst Concussion Care. HeadFirst opened the doors to its first Care Center in April 2012, adjacent to Righttime Medical Care in Annapolis, Maryland. Currently, there are 10 HeadFirst clinics. HeadFirst serves as the community model to provide the diagnosis, management and treatment of mild Traumatic Brain Injuries. This includes post-injury medical evaluations for patients of all ages, including steps for a safe return to play, work or school organized in HeadFirst’s convenient color-coded envelopes as well as ImPACT® neurocognitive baseline testing for sports teams and individuals. Dr. Coleman is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He received his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine in 1975 and his MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 1995. He is a licensed pediatrician in the State of Maryland. marc e. weber, m.d., j.d. chief medical director Dr. Weber oversees all of Righttime’s clinical activities involving professional medical judgment and the delivery of patient care. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, along with past certifications in emergency medicine and pediatric emergency medicine. Dr. Weber received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences in Memphis and a Juris Doctor degree from Saint Louis University School of Law in St. Louis, Mo. tony doran, psy.d. headfirst program director Dr. Doran is Program Director of Righttime’s HeadFirst Sports Injury and Concussion Care, overseeing clinical operations and research initiatives. As a pediatric neuropsychologist, Dr. Doran also assesses patients with head injuries at HeadFirst clinics. Dr. Doran has over 20 years of experience in psychological assessment. He received a doctorate of psychology from the University of Hartford and did post-doctoral training in pediatric neuropsychology at Harvard Medical School. Prior to joining Righttime, Ms. Bresnahan served in several capacities in the financial and banking industry, including in credit investigation, commercial lending and real estate owned divisions, as well as for the Resolution Trust Corporation overseeing asset liquidation for a Savings and Loan company. ellen tallerico black, esq. chief legal officer Ellen Tallerico Black serves as general counsel currently overseeing Righttime’s legal affairs and supporting business development activities. Previously, Ms. Tallerico Black served in a business development capacity and was involved in the operation of related healthcare entities. She has a background in corporate and securities law and spent time at the Securities and Exchange Commission prior to rejoining Righttime as general counsel. Ms. Tallerico Black holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Maryland and a Juris Doctor and Securities Law certificate from the Catholic University Columbus School of Law. She is admitted to practice in Maryland. laura j. ketchum, esq. strategic initiatives Ms. Ketchum oversees the company’s brand, and assists in guiding strategy for new initiatives and business development. Ms. Ketchum has counseled numerous companies related to financings, mergers and acquisitions, securities compliance, intellectual property development and commercial real estate. Ms. Ketchum received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University in 1982 and her Juris Doctor from Temple University in 1988. She is admitted to practice in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Graw, Jr., M.D. Dr. Graw is Founder and CEO Righttime Medical Care and Medical Director of HeadFirst Sports Injury and Concussion Care. He is also the President of Ancillary Services, Inc., a medical services organization that delivers a wide array of services to health care organizations, and the Managing Partner of the Pediatric Group, a private pediatric practice. Dr. Graw obtained his B.A. from Pomona College in Claremont, California and his M.D. from the University of California in Irvine, California. Dr. Graw completed his internship and residency in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. He is Board-certified in pediatrics, with a sub-specialty Board certification in pediatric hematology-oncology, and has published more than 100 articles in medical literature. At the National Cancer Institute, he headed the section on Experimental Hematology in conjunction with a broad-based hematological support service for the transfusion of platelets and white blood cells. From 1983 to 1986, Dr. Graw served as Chief of Pediatrics at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Maryland. He was selected by the American Board of Pediatrics in 1994 to be on the Examining Board for pediatricians who wish to become Boardcertified in the United States. He is a member of the Medical Honor Society at the California College of Medicine, and has served on the board of the Maryland State Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, local school boards and numerous pediatric and hematology/oncology organizations. Dr. Graw currently serves on the legislative committee of the Urgent Care Association of America. He also speaks at national professional and business meetings. Dr. Graw sees pediatric patients in his private practice, focusing on complex medical and family issues and mentoring young physicians in the art of medicine.
