New Exhibitor Information
Welcome
Thank you for your enquiry regarding Reed Gift
Fairs - Australia’s largest gift and homewares
trade fairs. Reed Gift Fairs attract in excess of
59,000 visitors to its 5 trade fairs each year and
has been helping Australian and New Zealand
based wholesalers grow their businesses for
over 40 years.
Reed Gift Fairs is here to help you get the best
out of your business. In order to get started,
please read all of the information and return the
required material along with a brief background
on your company and its goals.
Details on how to exhibit with Reed Gift Fairs
are attached. The forms that need to be
returned as part of the application are included
at the end of this information kit.
There are no costs associated with your
application and you only need to apply once.
Once your application has been approved,
based on availability, you will be invited to
participate in your preferred fairs.

About Reed Gift Fairs
Event Profile
Reed Gift Fairs are trade only events open exclusively to
members of the gift and homewares industry. There is no
charge for buyers to attend, however each visitor is required
to present two forms of business identification, including
ABN, along with one form of personal ID to gain entry. As
Reed Gift Fairs is a trade only event, cash sales are not
permitted during the fair.

Eligibility
Reed Gift Fairs requires that all exhibiting businesses are
Australian/New Zealand based and operated. Companies based
outside Australia and New Zealand are NOT eligible to exhibit.

Stand Packages
Shell Scheme
A shell scheme stand is a stand that we construct to match
your space requirements. All shell scheme stands include
velcro-compatible carpeted walls, fascia and signage (with
company name and stand number) and lighting.
Upgrade Options – Octanorm
Octanorm stands include smooth, clean white walling and
can include raised flooring. Removing the fascia is also an
option. The floors are available in white, black or beech effect,
are raised with a ramped edge and meet all venue-flooring
regulations.
Space Only
If you already have your own stand, or would like to design
your own unique look, then this is the best option for you. We
supply the floor space (including carpet) and you design and
construct your stand. Exhibitors with custom built stands will
need to provide a line drawing for our approval and the stand
must be completely free standing, not requiring any further
support from the surrounding walls.

The above rates are per square metre and inclusive of space only and GST.
Public Liability
Reed Exhibitions requires every exhibitor to have Public
Liability Insurance in respect of personal injury to persons, or
property damages to a minimum of $10 million. This refers to
damage or injury caused to third parties/visitors on or in the
vicinity of their stand at an exhibition.
This will automatically appear on your contract and will be
removed upon receiving proof of currency for the duration
of the fair (this must be received at least 14 days prior to the
exhibition). The cost of Public Liability coverage through Reed
Exhibitions is $199.99 (incl. GST).
Marketing
To have a successful fair and to effectively drive buyers to
your stand and educate them about your company Reed Gift
Fairs have a number of marketing opportunities available
including our Gifted Event Directory and the Reed Gift Fairs
website. These options are explained in further detail on the
next page.

Marketing & Promotion
Standard Promotional Package
When booking your stand, all exhibitors will automatically receive the
Standard Promotional Package. This package is an essential part
of your trade fair experience and costs $989.00 (inc GST). For those
wanting more exposure you will be given the option of upgrading the
promotional package to The Standard Plus, Enhanced or Premium
Package.

Gifted Event Directory
Gifted Event Directory is the official trade guide of Reed Gift
Fairs. Used by retailers year round, the Gifted Event Directory is
published five times a year and is an essential part of your trade
fair experience. Sent three weeks prior to each Fair, the Gifted
Event Directory is mailed to every qualified buyer who attended the
previous year’s fair, and is also available onsite during each Fair.
Supplement
The Supplement Promotional Package is offered to exhibitors that
missed the Gifted Event Directory deadline. Handed out onsite
and containing essential fair information, the Supplement package
costs $610.00 (inc gst) and includes a 50 word listing and the full
online package.
Online Opportunities
Reed Gift Fairs now offers online opportunities to increase your
company’s profile at the fair. These include;

What happens next?
1. Your application will be processed and references will be
checked and validated.
2. If your application is successful, your details will be placed
in our database and you will then be eligible to exhibit in
future with Reed Gift Fairs.
3. You will receive a phone call from your allocated account
manager to confirm that your application was successful.
Subject to availability, you will then receive a stand offer for
your nominated fair.
