Jean-Louis: “You receive a lot in return”
Two years ago, Jean-Louis (26) graduated as a criminologist and started
the “Sales” training programme. Now, as a District Manager, he is
responsible for five stores. “As a District Manager you work in-store, close
to the customers. Most of the time you motivate and manage your staff.
My opinion about the training? There is a lot of information to take in
and it is highly demanding, but you get a lot in return. And of course, the
excellent conditions are a bonus.”
Michiam: “Commitment and motivation are rewarded”
Michiam (25) has successfully completed the “Warehouse and
Distribution” training programme. Currently he is working as a project
leader in the logistics department at Merelbeke. His feelings about the
training: “It is a very interesting and informative programme. You go
through every aspect of the logistics department in a relatively short
period of time. The programme encourages you to take on management
responsibilities, which is a dream come true for most recent graduates.
You don’t mind needing to be flexible, because your commitment and
motivation are rewarded.”
Marjolein: “You learn about all aspects of retail”
Marjolein (25) works as a project leader in the Project department. In
2010 she completed “Finance and Administration” training. “The training
programme offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who lack
practical experience. The 12-month programme includes time in all areas
of retail and allows you to learn every aspect on the spot. The in-store
training is rather physically demanding. Nevertheless, I never thought of
it in a negative way: the experience I gained is helping me a lot in my
current position.”

GLOBAL MANAGEMENT TRAINEE PROGRAM
The program offers a 10 month comprehensive
training program with AB InBev that will give you a
base understanding of the organization from a
variety of perspectives and will give you hands on
experience, leading you to a junior management
position within the company when completed.
We also hire graduates directly into our Supply and
Commercial functions. You will receive
comprehensive on the job training and be working
on real projects from day 1.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for recent graduates (who graduate
before September 2013) with ideally a Masters
degree (or equivalent) from any of the following
disciplines - business, economics, finance, science,
engineering, law or IT. You must have an
entrepreneurial spirit, be results-driven and have
undertaken some form of leadership position either
inside or outside of university.
SUPPLY TRAINEE PROGRAM
The program offers a 4 month comprehensive
training program to give you a base understanding
of the supply organization from a variety of
perspectives, covering brewing, packaging, quality,
technical services and logistics. You will have hands
on experience and be working on real projects from
day 1. After your first 4 month induction, you will
participate in job rotations, working across different
breweries and different parts of the operations,
undertaking junior management positions.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for recent graduates (who graduate
before September 2013) with ideally a Bachelor or
Masters degree (or equivalent) from any of the
following disciplines - Engineering (ideally in
Chemical, Mechanical, Production or Electrical) or
Science (Bio-chemistry, micro-biology, brewing/
food science or pharmacy).
COMMERCIAL TRAINEE PROGRAM
The program offers a 4 month comprehensive
training program to give you a base understanding
of the commercial organization from a variety of
perspectives, covering brands marketing,
innovation, trade marketing and sales. You will have
hands on experience and be working on real
projects from day 1. After your first 4 month
induction, you will participate in job rotations,
working across different of the operations,
undertaking junior management positions.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for recent graduates (who graduate
before September 2013) with ideally a Bachelor or
Masters degree (or equivalent) from any of the
following disciplines - Business, Marketing,
Economics or Sales.

grid in 234 Flemish cities and municipalities (our
main partners and shareholders). We do this on
behalf of the distribution grid operators Gaselwest,
IMEA, Imewo, Intergem, Iveka, Iverlek and Sibelgas.
Eandis employs some 4,300 people.
Eandis aims to be the Flemish knowledge center of
reference in the field of energy distribution. We
are adamant about offering a high level of service
to the authorities of the many municipalities in our
operating area, as well as to their inhabitants.
• We put that strategy into practice by focusing
on operational excellence for our core business:
our technicians maintain and expand the grid, fix
failures and see to new gas and electricity
connections for homes and companies. With an
average number of about 20 customer minutes
lost in 2012 (electricity), we rank among the best
performers in Europe.
• Equally important are the public service
obligations that the Flemish government has
assigned to us. Eandis plays a major role in
combating energy poverty. In close cooperation
with the public social welfare offices, we supply
energy to disadvantaged members of society
who – because of payment problems – can no
longer get energy from commercial energy
suppliers. If need be, we install a budget meter
that works with a prepayment card. This helps
the customer to closely manage his budget.
• What’s more, Eandis insists on keeping its
position as a forerunner. Consciously fostering

of innovative services and groundbreaking
research projects.
A well-known example is our ‘smart meters’ project.
As part of a pilot project, we will, by year-end 2013,

quarter of an hour. This information can help endusers get a better understanding of their
consumption, and Eandis with the operation and
monitoring of the grid. Other examples of

Jean-Louis: “You receive a lot in return”
Two years ago, Jean-Louis (26) graduated as a criminologist and started
the “Sales” training programme. Now, as a District Manager, he is
responsible for five stores. “As a District Manager you work in-store, close
to the customers. Most of the time you motivate and manage your staff.
My opinion about the training? There is a lot of information to take in
and it is highly demanding, but you get a lot in return. And of course, the
excellent conditions are a bonus.”
Michiam: “Commitment and motivation are rewarded”
Michiam (25) has successfully completed the “Warehouse and
Distribution” training programme. Currently he is working as a project
leader in the logistics department at Merelbeke. His feelings about the
training: “It is a very interesting and informative programme. You go
through every aspect of the logistics department in a relatively short
period of time. The programme encourages you to take on management
responsibilities, which is a dream come true for most recent graduates.
You don’t mind needing to be flexible, because your commitment and
motivation are rewarded.”
Marjolein: “You learn about all aspects of retail”
Marjolein (25) works as a project leader in the Project department. In
2010 she completed “Finance and Administration” training. “The training
programme offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who lack
practical experience. The 12-month programme includes time in all areas
of retail and allows you to learn every aspect on the spot. The in-store
training is rather physically demanding. Nevertheless, I never thought of
it in a negative way: the experience I gained is helping me a lot in my
current position.”

During this 12 month training programme you will
focus on leadership skills, organization and gaining an

Joachim Vanden Brande founded in 2002 LoQutus.
As “Business Process ICT-Architects”, the LoQutus

are about IT architecture. Throughout the years, a
stable and flourishing company was built. The
LoQutus team (some 50 people at the moment)

organization at one’s disposal (with more than 150

meals and processed meats.
We are a family owned and independent Flemish
company that is quoted on the stock market, with

partnership with Alcon (Novartis) for the
commercialization of JETREA® outside the United
States. Under this agreement, ThromboGenics
could receive up to a total of ¤375 million in upfront and milestone payments. It will receive
significant royalties from Alcon’s net sales of
JETREA®. ThromboGenics and Alcon intend to
share the costs equally of developing JETREA® for
a number of new vitreoretinal indications.
In Europe, JETREA® is approved for the treatment
of vitreomacular traction (VMT), including when
associated with macular hole of diameter less than
or equal to 400 microns. It has been launched by
Alcon in the UK, Germany, Denmark and Sweden.
