The housewares items on display at the Media Preview Event for the 2016 International Home +
Housewares Show are examples of new products that will be driving consumer purchases. Some of the
products have already been introduced this year, while others will be introduced at the Show in March.

project
for Alessi
from German designer
Maximilian Schmahl. Schmahl strives to create
objects that people enjoy having as part of their
daily life. The biggest compliment a designer
can hope for, according to Schmahl, is that people want to live with his or her products every
day. Created in two versions, polished stainless
steel and steel-colored epoxy resin in black, Broken Bowl highlights Alessi’s extensive line of
baskets and bowls and the stainless steel manufacturing techniques for which Alessi is known.
