Don’t forget about our Mini Worship/Communion
service here at Oak Forest every Wednesday night
in the Sanctuary at 6:30pm. K-Life for the kids too!
The Oak Forest UMW
is sponsoring a
Mother/Daughter Banquet
on May 7th at 6:00pm
in the Family Life Center. So
put on a hat and come out
to honor all women. Cost is $11 for
adults and $6 for children under
10. Write checks to Oak Forest
UMW. Must have tickets by May 1st.
The Media Team is in need of
individuals willing to learn how to
operate the sound board
during Sunday’s worship services.
The position at this time is for a part time
person willing to fill in when needed &
may turn in to a full time rotating position if
desired. Our current team members are
experiencing work related responsibilities
that will prevent them from attend worship on Sundays. Your
training will fill an important part (sound) of the worship service.
We provide all the training you need. If you are interested in

professional wrestler, George South. Throughout his 30 plus year career in
professional wrestling, George has maintained his strong faith in his
Savior, Jesus Christ. George’s journeys have taken him to the NWA, WCW
and WWF and he’s faced a who’s who of wrestling legends, like Ricky
Steamboat, Wahoo McDaniel, Blackjack Mulligan, Jake the Snake Roberts,
Ric Flair, and many more. These experiences led George to open his own
wrestling school which is still open today and chronicle his life and journey in the book, “Dad You Don’t Work, You Wrestle”. Every weekend
