CLUB MANAGEMENT’S
MESSAGE
Dear Members,
First of all, on behalf of the Board of Advisors and the Club Management, we would like to
thank you for your continued support of the Club especially during January and February
2011. The Club Management with the support of the Club Members will continue to make
improvements in all areas of the Club, so that we can better serve you and your guests.
The Club Sponsored the British Chamber of Commerce Business and Social Gathering
on February 24, 2011, and as those of you who attended will know, it was a great success.
Well attended by about 100 business leaders in Jakarta, it was a great opportunity to
expand your business network. Don't miss the opportunity to come for the next Chamber
Gathering on March 23, 2011, when MAC will be Hosting and Sponsoring the IABC
(Indonesia Australia Business Council) Social Gathering. Please mark your calendar to
attend the most popular business Social Gathering event in town. Get the benefit of
networking your business with the International Business Players. As a MAC Member, you
are privileged to pay the IABC Members price of Rp. 200,000, for free flow drinks and food,
while guest of Members will pay Rp.380,000.
The First Club Members Gathering in 2011 on February 25 was also well attended by our
Club Loyal Members. Free flow drinks, a great selection of food, entertainment during the
evening and fabulous door prizes, have continued to make our Club Members
Gatherings, Special Events at which all our Members can meet each other in a very
relaxed environment.
Chef Jurgen and his team have created new menus in Shutters Bar and The Miyabi
Restaurant. Please bring your friends and family along to enjoy these new mouth watering
menus.
Just one of the benefits of being a Club Member, is that you may enjoy special promotions
created by the Club Management. In March and April, come and enjoy a glass of house
wine at only Rp. 50,000++. We also have Happy Hour from 5 PM to close in Shutters Bar
every weekday evening and we have a Special Beer event every Thursday.
We are currently analysing the “Members Preference” Activity Survey. Please continue to
send in your suggestions. Based on your input, we will arrange the events our Members
suggest to meet your needs as Club Members. We are here to serve you. If you have not
received a copy of the survey please let us have your current E-mail address and a copy of
the activity survey will be sent to you. We hope that you can take some of your valuable
time to complete the survey and help us help you. To show our appreciation the first 20
members who return the survey, will be given a souvenir.
The Reciprocal Club list continues to expanded, and is currently 57 Clubs. We have
received favourable comments from our Members who have visited the Reciprocal Clubs
in Singapore. The newest Reciprocal Club to join our growing list is the “Tower Club”,
Singapore. The other Singapore Clubs are The American Club Singapore, The
British Club, The Pines Club and Singapore Polo Club If you are travelling out of
country, contact one of our Reception Staff to arrange for an introduction to a Reciprocal
Club at your destination. We are also very happy to arrange reciprocal arrangements with
any Club you would like to suggest.
