MELUSINE: LIBRARIES THAT DELIVER ! Discovery collections are offered on the following basis • • • • • • • • • • Standard 1x format, in 96- or 384-well plates for 1-3 screens; Each sample is fractionated into 80 fractions that are dispensed in microplates; Discovery collection made of 1 920 fractions; Each well typically contains 5-20 molecules for primary screens; Library containing approximately 12 000 molecules; Either in 96-well plates containing 80 fractions from one venom (24 plates) with 16 empty wells (columns 11 & 12); Or in 384-well plates containing 1 920 fractions from 24 venoms (6 plates) with 64 empty wells (columns 1, 2, 23 & 24); Designed to target nM & pM activities in primary screens; Bioactives will be at an estimated concentration of 0.5-5 μM if dissolved in 50-100 μL; Resupply from the same batch guaranteed.
