IMPORTANT:
The vehicle must be at the stand by 9 a.m. on 5th May 2016. It must be
present for 4 days. The vehicle can only be moved away after the end of
the exhibition on 8th May 2016.

PRIVATE CAR AREA conditions of participation
for the TUNING WORLD BODENSEE 2016
1. Duration and venue of TUNING WORLD BODENSEE and the
PRIVATE CAR AREA
The PRIVATE CAR AREA takes place on Thursday, 5th May until Sunday 8th of May
during the TWB. The TWB is open Thursday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
2. Application and admittance
Participation, acceptance of the general exhibiting guidelines as well as special terms
of participation are confirmed with the return of the completed application forms.
However, the application for participation for the TUNING WORLD BODENSEE,
PRIVATE CAR AREA is not a confirmation of participation by the fair; this is only approved by written permission.
3. Cancellation
Cancellation after confirmation of participation by the MESSE FRIEDRICHSHAFEN
GmbH is generally not possible for logistical and organizational reasons. The guidelines
in paragraph 6 of the “General Guidelines for Participation in Fairs and Exhibitions of
IDFA Members” will apply.
4. Set-up and dismantling of presentation areas
As a rule, set-up of individual presentation areas must be completed by Thursday, 5th
May 2016 at 8 a.m. All surfaces must be cleaned; rubbish or dirt must be removed.
The set-up of presentation surfaces can begin on Wednesday, 4th May 2016, at 9 a.m.
The dismantling will take place on Sunday 8th of May 2016 after close of the fair.
Deadline is Monday 9th of May at 6 p.m.
IMPORTANT: If vehicles are not at the stand area/assembled in good time (by
Thursday, 5th May 2016) or leave the area before the close of the fair on Sunday 8th
of May 2016 at 6 p.m., the Messe Friedrichshafen is authorized to decorate the stand
area suitably and charge the registered vehicle driver/owner or the applicant.
5. Awards
All Vehicles in the PRIVATE CAR AREA participate on the Award from the MAV
publishing house. You receive details with the confirmation of participation. The participation on Yokohama-Tuning-Award is also free.
6. Stand costs
40,- € for the floor permit and the PRIVATE-Package.
7. Presentation areas
The stand area is basically a presentation area; this means it is generally allowed to present the vehicle in a correspondingly creative way. You may use your own decorative
material and techniques of representation. Stand constructions and wall systems are not
allowed in the PRIVATE CAR AREA. There are no restrictions on creativity; however, the
fair has the final decision in case of questionable themes (violence, pornography, divisive topics) to withdraw approval if such themes are not removed. This area is only for
private individuals. It is prohibited to sell, advertise or offer products on the vehicle.
The MESSE FRIEDRICHSHAFEN GmbH reserves the right to demand the dismantle or
closure of the stand areas in case of non-compliance with the rules.
IMPORTANT: The use of inflammable decorative material is only permitted if
- a certification of inspection for the B1 approval is present
- or the material has been impregnated with an approved flame retardant
-or it can be determined that no harm will be caused by a firing experiment.
Failure to comply with these rules will result in the removal or exchange of the decorative material.
8. Stand activities and noise control
Any acoustic irradiations, background music, stand parties or show and action fillers are
subject to approval by the fair management. The management reserves the right of
revocation even in the case of an approval, especially if fellow exhibitors feel disturbed
by the noise. Speech amplifiers are only to be used in consultation with the MESSE
FRIEDRICHSHAFEN GmbH; the management reserves the right of revocation.
Presentation must not exceed the maximum volume of 70 dBs. After a single warning
the organisers reserve the right to prohibit the presentation and cut off the electricity
supply or close the stand area if necessary. The corresponding legal requirements must
be complied with.
9. Advertisements
Flyers, posters and other advertising material (only private advertising/no commercial
advertisements) may only be offered/presented on/within the respective stand area. It
is strictly forbidden to distribute flyers, place posters or use other advertising material
on the exhibition grounds. Offending persons must pay a fine of €150 as well as
possible additional costs (cleaning fees).
10. Data protection and copyright
All registered drivers permit to having pictures of the vehicles and people involved
published. Also, address listings on the exhibition homepage and in other media forms
are approved in principle. All data will only be used by the fair, their partners or by/for
their customers.
11. Violations of the exhibition terms
In case of violations against the exhibition terms, the MESSE FRIEDRICHSHAFEN GmbH
is permitted to close the presentation areas immediately and conduct the cleaning operations itself.
