Hello from Golden, Colorado: More than 30 years ago, Spyderco
Hello from Golden, Colorado:
More than 30 years ago, Spyderco single-handedly defined the modern “tactical” folding knife. The
dynamic combination of one-handed manual opening, a pocket clip, and the extreme cutting power of a
serrated edge quickly made our knives the tools of choice of armed professionals, duty-bound
personnel, and defense-minded citizens.
Since then, both Spyderco and the knife community have matured and our groundbreaking design
innovations have become standard features on most modern folding knives. Spyderco has also
expanded the breadth and depth of our product offerings to meet the needs of the full spectrum of
knife users. However, in the process, we have never lost touch with our duty-bound customers.
To best meet the needs of military and law enforcement personnel, security professionals, first
responders, and defense-minded civilians, Spyderco is proud to introduce our OpFocus™ catalog. This
catalog presents the majority of our product line with a focus on the features that are most relevant to
operational needs. This “operational focus” allows end users to quickly compare and evaluate our
products to choose the knives and accessories that best fit your mission and training goals.
Concurrent with the introduction of the OpFocus program, we have also restructured our marketing
strategy. Our Director of Marketing/Public Relations, Joyce Laituri, still oversees the broad scope of our
marketing efforts; however, media relations specifically focused on the tactical, law enforcement, and
military markets are now being managed by Spyderco’s Special Projects Coordinator Michael Janich.
Depending upon your specific needs and focus, please feel free to contact Joyce or Michael directly.
Their contact information is included below.
Thank you for your continued interest in Spyderco. We are excited to share our latest developments
with you and look forward to working with you in 2012. We wish you continued success in all you do.
Sincerely,
The Spyderco Crew

C10FPOR / C11FPOR – Endura 4 and Delica 4 Lightweight Orange Full-Flat Ground
Spyderco’s best-selling Endura and Delica models helped pioneer the concept of lightweight clip-carry
folders in the 1990s and have since become the standard by which all others are judged. Over years of
service, they have also continued to evolve through Spyderco’s Constant Quality Improvement (C.Q.I.)
initiative—a dedicated program to continue to make great products even better. The most recent result
of this process is the Endura 4 and Delica 4 Full-Flat Ground with high-visibility orange handles. Both
feature a flat-ground VG-10 stainless steel blade that provides superior edge geometry for friction-free
cutting performance. Their handles are constructed of injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon
supported by full-length skeletonized stainless steel liners. Bi-Directional Texturing ensures a secure grip
and a four-position clip and sturdy back-lock mechanism make the Endura 4 and Delica 4 fully
ambidextrous and configurable for all carry styles. Best of all, the bright orange handle makes it easy to
locate and access in low-visibility environments and ensures that your knife can be easily found if
accidentally dropped—even in water. C10FPOR – MSRP $104.95. C11FPOR – MSRP $99.95.

C79PSBBK – Spyderco Assist Rescue Black
The Assist is hands down one of the most extraordinary knives ever made. Its unique blade features an
oversized Spyderco hole and Cobra Hood™ attachment for swift, positive blade deployment, even while
wearing heavy gloves. The blunt tip easily slides under seat belts, clothing, and other materials without
endangering the victim and will not puncture flotation gear. Its serrated edge easily powers through the
toughest materials, while still offering a small section of plain edge near the tip for detail work. The
Assist’s Bi-Directional Textured™ FRN black handle, has finger grooves for a secure grip and to enable
the blade to “scissor cut” rope and cord much like a cigar cutter. For window breaching, squeeze the
Assist’s closed blade and a retractable carbide glass breaker extends from the butt of the handle.
Available with either a black or high visibility orange handle, the original version of the Assist features a
satin finish blade. For end users concerned about light discipline, Spyderco now offers a black-bladed
Assist with a non-reflective titanium carbonitride blade coating. These features, plus a built-in survival
whistle and reversible wire pocket clip, make the Assist the ultimate pocket tool for first responders,
rescue personnel and armed professionals. C79PSBBK – MSRP $149.95

C85GP2 – Spyderco Yojimbo2
Designed by noted personal-defense trainer Michael Janich, the Yojimbo2 is an evolved expression of his
original Spyderco Yojimbo design, which pioneered the application of the wharncliffe blade in tactical
folders. The refined ergonomics of the Yojimbo2 complement the natural contours of the hand, ensuring
maximum surface contact and positive control. They also encourage a thumb-forward grip and make the
3-1/4-inch CPM-S30V blade a natural extension of the hand. The straight cutting edge of the hollowground blade offers extreme cutting performance by transferring power all the way to the tip and
ensures improved point strength. Nested stainless steel liners provide structural strength and form the
backbone of the knife’s high-strength compression lock mechanism. Textured G-10 scales and a fourposition clip guarantee a non-slip grip and rapid deployment from all carry positions. C85GP2 – MSRP

C95GP2 – Manix2 XL
The Manix2 XL traces its history back to the original Spyderco Manix. Released in 2004, the Manix was
an extremely stout back lock folding knife that quickly earned the loyalty of end users requiring extreme
cutting performance and strength. In 2006, the full-sized C95 Manix inspired a smaller version called the
C101, which retained the back lock mechanism and all the other salient features of the original, but in a
handier, more compact package. This downsized version of the knife later served as the foundation of
the popular Manix2.
Although the Manix 2 is more than capable of tackling most cutting chores, some users still feel that
“bigger is better” and requested the return of the full-sized Manix. To meet their needs and as part of
Spyderco’s commitment to “Constant Quality Improvement” (C.Q.I.), we decided to combine the best of
both designs. The result is the Manix2 XL—a faithful expression of the full-sized Manix incorporating our
high-strength Ball Bearing Lock mechanism.
The heart of the Manix2 XL is its flat ground CPM-S30V blade. Improved jimping on the thumb ramp and
forefinger choil also provide a positive purchase for enhanced control and a large 14mm Trademark
Spyderco Hole insures easy one-handed deployment, even while wearing gloves. Textured black G-10
scales and strategically placed jimping on the edges of the liners ensure a secure grip. An open-backed
construction style also simplifies cleaning and maintenance. No matter what cutting chores you face,
this stout folder is ready for anything. C95GP2 – MSRP $164.95

FB29GPSBBK - Spyderco Pygmy Warrior
Designed by combat veteran and lifelong martial artist Bob Taylor, the Pygmy Warrior provides the
revolutionary qualities of the original Warrior design in a smaller, lighter, easier to carry format. Saber
ground from premium CTS-BD1 stainless steel, it features full-tang construction for extreme strength. Its
integral guard, textured G-10 scales, and ergonomic handle profile lock your hand securely in place,
ensuring a solid, combat-worthy grip. Optional handle scale spacers (included) also allow you to adjust
the handle girth to best fit the size of your hand. The curve of the blade is optimized to complement the
natural arc of motion of the human arm, ensuring maximum energy transfer during a thrust. Sawteeth
on the back of the blade support trapping and hooking tactics and make the Pygmy a devastatingly
effective close-quarter tool. A custom-molded Boltaron® sheath provides a variety of carry options and
ensures immediate access. FB29GPSBBK – MSRP TBD
