Basic Finishing Techniques: $25.00 (plus cost of materials)

Tuesday February 9th, May 24th (5-7pm)
With an emphasis on technique, this class is perfect for anyone looking for an introduction to
beading. You will learn to finish projects using beading wire, memory wire, elastic, and leather
or satin cord. In this class you will complete three different types of bracelets and one necklace.
Materials to be purchased before the class:
1 adult 1x memory wire bracelet
1 ft .8 mm elastic cord
1 ft C-flex beading wire
1.5 ft of leather or satin cord
3 crimp beads
2 coils or crimp ends
2 clasp sets
1 tube size 6/0 seed beads (for color variety choose a seed bead mix)
1 charm with jump ring
10 - 20 accent beads of your choice
Basic Earrings: $25.00 (includes materials)

Tuesday February 16th, May 31st (5-7pm)
This is a great class for the beginning beader. Learn to make basic earrings, linked
earrings, and wire wrapped earrings. A small selection of beads as well as base metal
findings are included in the class fee. If you have metal sensitivity you may want to
purchase your own earwires ahead of time. You are also welcome to purchase or bring
your own beads to work with.
Knotting with Silk: $25.00 (plus cost of materials)

Tuesday February 23rd, June 7th (5-7pm)
Learn to knot between pearls or semiprecious beads. Re-string the pearls you already
have, or begin a new project. This technique can also be used to create spaces between
your beads, making a "floating bead" necklace.
Materials to be purchased before the class:
1 strand of pearls or semiprecious beads
1 card Griffin silk (ask for help with size)
2 bead tips
1 clasp set
Fine tip knotting tweezer
Wire Wrapped Bead-Link Bracelet: $25.00 (plus cost of materials)

Tuesday March 1st, June 14th (5-7pm)
Learn the basics of wire wrapping while creating your own bead-link bracelet. Wire
wrapping is a wonderful technique for making links and dangles to be used for
earrings, bracelets, necklaces and other projects.
Materials to be purchased before the class:
8 beads (10 - 12mm in size)
28 - 42 assorted accent beads (4 - 6mm in size)
1 pkg. 22ga. soft wire
1 pkg. 22ga. headpins
8pcs 8mm jump rings
1 clasp set
Leather Wrap Bracelet: $25.00 (plus cost of materials)

Tuesday March 8th, June 21st (5-7pm)
Learn how to create this popular bracelet using simple materials. The leather wrap
bracelet can be made with a variety of beads in endless color combinations.

Wire Mermaid Nest Earrings: $25.00 (plus cost of materials)

Tuesday March 29th, July 12th (5-7pm)
Learn to make these fun bead cluster earrings that are perfect for Maine’s summer
months spent by the seaside! They can be made in a variety of colors and are a versatile
style adaptable for bridal, formal or everyday wear. This project will incorporate various
wireworking techniques. Some experience manipulating wire is recommended.

25-30 3-4mm beads, assorted colors and materials

Woven Rivoli Earrings: $25.00 (plus cost of materials)

You won't believe how quick and easy it is to make this stunning pair of earrings! Learn
to make a beadwoven setting for Swarovski crystal rivolis using bugle beads.
Materials to be purchased before the class:
2 14mm Swarovski rivolis
1 tube 6mm Miyuki bugles (BGL2)
1 tube Miyuki 15/0 seed beads
1 strand 2mm firepolish OR 1 tube 3mm Swarovski crystals

Intro To Wire Ring Making

Tuesday April 12th, July 26th (5-7pm)
In this class you will learn the basics of how to turn a bead or gemstone into a wire
wrapped ring. No previous wire-wrapping experience is necessary. This is the perfect
project to use up left over beads and create the perfect ring to match your accessories.
Materials to be purchased before the class:
1ft wire 22ga.
1 8-15mm flat oval bead
Embellished Peyote Stitch Bracelet: $25.00 (plus cost of materials)

Learn a fundamental beadweaving stitch and make a beautiful embellished bracelet.
This project is great for beginners and is very versatile with many different color
options. Perfect to wear for an evening out, this bracelet is sure to catch compliments.

Rivoli Bezel Basic Pendant

Tuesday April 26th, August 9th (5-7pm)
In this class you will learn how to make a peyote stitch beadwoven bezel for 14mm
Swarovski rivolis. This is a fun class to experiment with bead shapes and sizes.
Examples will be provided or experiment with your own designs. It is recommended to
have some beadweaving experience before taking this class. Bring any tubes from your
bead stash that fit your fancy, we will use an assortment of sizes and shapes.
Materials to be purchased before the class:
1 tube 15/0 seed beads (choose 2 colors for variation!)
1 tube 11/0 Delica beads (choose 2 colors for variation!)
1 14mm Swarovski Rivoli
Recommended tubes: 10/0 Delica, 11/0 seed bead, 8/0 seed bead
Serpentine Bracelet

Tuesday May 3rd, August 16th (5-7pm)
Try a variation of the leather wrap bracelet! Learn how to make this fun and easy
bracelet that doesn’t require any stitching.
Materials to be purchased before the class:
1 button
2.5ft of 1.5mm leather
1 tube Miyuki 6/0 seed beads
Approx. 12 large hole beads (varies with wrist size!)
Approx. 11 large hole ring beads (or chain link)
Wire Wrapped Sea Glass: $25.00 (plus cost of materials)

Tuesday May 10th, August 23rd (5-7pm)
Learn some useful wire wrapping techniques to turn your beach treasures into wearable
pieces of jewelry! Bring your own sea glass or beach stones or choose from our large
selection to create your one of a kind piece.
Materials to be purchased before the class:
2-3 pieces of sea glass or beach stones (assorted sizes and shapes)
1 package of 22 or 24 gauge soft wire
Necklace cord or chain is optional
Tubular Herringbone Bracelet

Tuesday May 17th, August 30th (5-7pm)
Herringbone is a traditional African bead weaving technique. This class focuses on the
tubular style of herringbone stitch and incorporates multiple bead sizes. A fun class for
the bead weaver looking to expand their beading repertoire.
Materials to be purchased before the class:
1 strand 4mm firepolish beads
1 tube Miyuki 8/0 seed beads
1 tube Miyuki TR8 seed beads
1 Big Eye needle
1 spool C-Lon micro cord
1 ft leather cord
2 crimp ends and a clasp set
All classes are held Tuesday nights from 5-7pm (unless otherwise noted).
The cost for each class is $25 plus the cost of materials.

you need any assistance in selecting your materials we are happy to assist
you prior to the class time.
To reserve a space in a class you must pay the $25 class fee before class
time. If you cannot attend a class please cancel 24 hours in advance and we
will be happy to give you a credit for another class or merchandise.
Please note that all basic techniques such as earrings, necklaces, bracelets,
etc. are still taught free of charge any time during our regular store hours.
We reserve the right to cancel a class if our minimum number of three
students is not met.
