Mission
The mission of The Ohio Association of Child Caring Agencies, Inc. is to promote and strengthen a fully
integrated, private/public network of high-quality services for Ohio’s children and their families through
advocacy, education, and member support.
Purpose
The Ohio Association of Child Caring Agencies, Inc. shall be operated exclusively for charitable, educational, and
advocacy purposes.
The Association shall:

Advocate for a fully integrated system of high quality services for Ohio’s children and their families
Develop, enhance, and encourage cooperative efforts among private and public child serving agencies and
state departments that serve children and their families
Encourage the development, funding, and expansion of private services for children and their families
Develop and promote high standards of service for children and their families
Communicate with legislative bodies, other organizations, and the general public on matters relative to
children’s needs
Conduct educational activities related to the above functions
Provide information/training to member agencies
Acquire and hold such assets of property, real or personal, as may be reasonably required to implement the
foregoing purposes
The Association will not provide any direct services to families or children.
