When you Race for the Cure, you join more than 100,000 breast cancer survivors and activists around the globe as part of the world’s largest and most progressive grassroots network fighting breast cancer. When you Race for the Cure, you enable the Komen Philadelphia Affiliate to invest millions of dollars in local breast health and breast cancer awareness projects in our 13-county service area, as well as offer innovative outreach programs for the AfricanAmerican, Latina, Asian-American, Korean, Jewish and Islamic communities in need. SWEET MEMORIES by CLASSIC CAKE Celebrate life with a LARGER-THAN-LIFE cake-cutting ceremony before the survivor parade at the Art Museum steps, created by Classic Cake. Also enjoy special “sweet memories” of Race day 2008! WE WELCOME RAE RESTAURANT TO OUR FAMILY OF RACE SUPPORTERS! Join the Rae culinary team on Eakins Oval for delicious hot soup on Race day.
