In Roscrea, for example, Ballyhall can be found on a street sign - this anglicised place name is derived from An Baile Thall - or "the town over there", describing its status as the Gaelic
settlement outside of the Castle walls. Signs will include Irish phrases, poems, prayers etc. to deepen the interpretation and provide a real opportunity for learning/improving spoken Irish.
