Drill and fasten using 3/4" carriage bolts. 16 Mount bottom section Date Taken: 4/6/2012 Position bottom section so lip that protrudes inwards sits 1" below bottom of mower blade. Clamp using spring clamps or similar clamps to hold bottom section in place. Note you may have to reposition hole in upper section of back doousing 3/8" drill bit.r. VULCHERASSEMBLY 9/19/2012 Page: 14 15 Butler and Company R& D Inc. 29 Metal Baffle Date Taken: 4/6/2012 Vulcher 2 in closed position shows metal baffle inside covering discharge opening to act as a guide to direct grass back to deck discharge area to be sucked into mower deck. Deflector baffle should be place so end of baffle ends at the end of the discharge area. 30 Grass deflector Date Taken: 9/19/2012 Place metal grass deflecting baffle so that the trailing edge meets up with the end of the discharge opening. This allows grass to follow the curve back under the deck to be cut again. Use existing bolt if it works otherwise you will have to install a new set of bolts to hold the deflector sheild in place.
