Sea kayaking
10 am – 2.30 pm, light lunch included
The starting point of the kayaking tour
is the town of Hvar. You set off to the
group of small islands called the Pakleni. The origin of the name goes back
to old days when the islands were the
main source of rosin for local shipbuilders. Today, just like then, the islands
are covered with thick pine woods providing refreshing shade even during
the hottest summer days. Besides the
well-known
beach of Palmižana, the route through
narrow straits and along the islands
reveals to you small hidden pebble
beaches where you can enjoy the privilege of having, at least temporarily, a
beach of your own. Returning back to
Hvar around 2 pm. Light lunch in a restaurant on the beach.
Sunset sea kayaking tour - a perfect
ending to the day (3 pm - 7 pm)
Kayak into the sunset, stop in beautiful
bays for last swim and glass of wine.

10 July and from 1 September
Jeep tour
1 day island tour (on request)
This tour will take you to beautiful
spots of the island, villages, vineyards, olive groves, highest peak of
the island, etc…. After the drive
which ends around 2 pm you will
stop in one beautiful bay for swimming. There are restaurants on that
beach as well, where you can have
lunch. Return to Hvar around 6pm.
Hiking
Wine tasting tour
Depending of the ability of the
group, there are different hiking
routes.
Most often, the hike is done starting
from Hvar town, to one of the peaks
above the town.
You will see beautiful scenery and
hike through villages where you will
see beauties of traditional architecture and way of living.
There is possibility to try home
made vine, prošek, grapa prepared
in traditional way.
According to an ancient legend, when
God distributed benefits, Dalmatians got
grapevine... because, at a place where
sun burns the rocks, where soil is thirsty,
where rocky ground prevails, hardly any
crop may survive. That is exactly Dalmatia and that is where grapevine found its
homeland.
For as early as the 4th century BC, the
Ancient Greeks brought the grape vine
to this sunny island and planted it in the
fertile plain of the ancient town Pharos.
Throughout the centuries of rich and turbulent history, people on Hvar cultivated
their vineyards with great skill and care,
blessed with the lushness of Mediterranean. Grapes and wine gave them safety,
food and medicine. They grew some of
the finest varieties in this area, but the
challenge still remains: how to turn this
richness and harmony into great wines.
Tour starts at 6pm. After 30 min drive you
arrive to Jelsa, small town on the north
coast of the island. It used to be one of
the most significant maritime, shipbuilding and trade centres of the Adriatic,
starting point for ocean-going sailing
vessels carrying best wines of Hvar, olive
oil and salted fish to far destinations all
over the world.
Rock climbing
Discovery rock climbing
4 pm – 8 pm
Suitable for beginners.
You will get basic instructions about
equipment and rock climbing and
have opportunity to climb your first
route.

Hvar Off-Road Tour
With this guided tour you will
visit the most beautiful parts of
the island of Hvar. You will get
to see places rarely visited by
tourists as even some of the
locals don't know they exist - all
completely inaccessible by
regular tour buses or rental
cars.
Departure from Hvar at 9:15 - 9:30 am
Tour ends approximately at 6 pm
A short drive along a dirt road leads
to Malo Grablje, a small village
abandoned decades ago. Upon arrival there will be a short walk
through that picturesque village
founded in the 16th century.
After Malo Grablje you proceed to
Velo Grablje and the next stop is
Vidikovac with such a perfect view
of the deepest bay on the island,
there the guide will tell you information about the area, about the oldest
town in Croatia founded by ancient
Greeks and more…
After the short stop you drive to the
highest peak of the island, Saint
Nicholas (626 m). From the highest
peak of the island there is a 360 degree unobstructed view of the island
and across to islands of Brač, Korčula
and Vis. Below the high point of St.
Nicholas on a sloping sunny hillside
lies Sveta Nedija, a village surrounded with steep vineyards which
are very difficult to tend. It is famous
far and wide for the high quality red
wine it produces from the plavac
grape.
Driving down the hill you will be
surprised by the variety of the sunsoaked island paradise of Hvar, ac-

cented with vineyard-covered hills,
olive groves and undulating fields of
rosemary and lavender.
You will have lunch at a tavern in the
abandoned medieval village of
Humac. The tavern with its interior in
local style, organic vegetables production and food preparation sends
you back to lives of people from Hvar
from centuries ago. Preparation of
food in the tavern is traditional. The
most interesting is under the bell
shaped lid (“peka”) which is covered
with live coal.
For lunch you can choose: octopus,
lamb, veal or chicken with potatoes as
a side dish.
After lunch you continue along the
north coast to Vrboska where you
stop at Soline beach for a relax and a
swim.
As your Hvar Off-Road Tour comes to
an end, approximately at 6 pm, you
head back to Hvar town taking the
new road.

What You Learn
Prerequisites
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to
breathe underwater? If you want to find out
but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a
certification course, Discover Scuba Diving
will let you try scuba to see if you like it.

There is nothing like breathing underwater for
the very first time. It takes a little getting used
to – after all, human beings weren’t designed
to do that – but after a few minutes of awestruck wonder, most participants realize how
easy scuba diving really is. The fun part? It’s
all fun!
Plus, you can get credit! As our Discover

Biševo/Komiža - full day
The island of Vis is one of the most remote
of all Adriatic islands, an island considered to be a jewel already by the ancient
Greeks. On the remains of the old Greek
settlements we today find the towns of
Komiža and Vis. After a pleasant sail you
will arrive to the islet of Biševo, part of the
archipelago surrounding Vis. The attraction of Biševo is the «Blue Cave». The
cave is a natural phenomenon which can
be entered only by small fisherman’s'
boats. The cave itself is quite spacious
and offers an unforgettable experience
especially the light effect created by the
sun reflecting in the cave through the sea.
You continue to Komiža, who's inhabitants
are believed to be the best fishermen on
the Adriatic. So there is no surprise that
we find a Fishermen’s Museum here. The
museum itself is located in a fortified
building from the 16th century that was
used for defense against the Turks. After
the visit enjoy some free time for strolling
around or maybe a swim.
Transportation, guide, entrance fees included.

Venetian. Upon arrival to Korčula you will

City Museum with a collection that shows
the historical, cultural and social situation
through the ages. In the Bishop's Palace
you will see a collection of Venetian and
Dalmatian icons (15.-17. centuries) and
Renaissance and Baroque drawings(16th19th centuries). The main attraction is certainly the cathedral of St.Mark from the
14th century. During your free time you
can pay a visit to the birth house of Marco
Polo.
After a short ride you will arrive to the
small harbour of Pomena on the Mljet island. Over 70% of this island is covered
by a thick forest. A short walk will take
you to the National Park where we find
two small lakes. On the larger of the lakes
there is a small island with a Benedictine
monastery from the 12th century. Spend
