As always, the Genesee District Library will be the study spot of choice for many students who regularly reserve study rooms, fill the computer labs, access free Wi-Fi, and hold study sessions in the library’s reference area. Plus, unlike Google and other search engines, the GDL provides access to reliable research resources online at thegdl.org, as well as knowledgeable reference librarians to assist you. Our fall programming will include an appearance by financial expert Liz Pulliam Weston on Friday, October 5 at the Grand Blanc McFarlen Library (details on front cover). Ms. Weston will provide some wonderful tips on how to better deal with your personal finances during these tough economic times. She will also be appearing at the Women’s Expo on October 6th at 1 pm.
