U.S. factory.
To pull this off in a competitive world
market, our production engineering
team has created one of the world’s most
advanced loudspeaker assembly facilities.
This allows our highly skilled
workforce to efficiently build JL Audio
products to extremely high quality standards. While it is also feasible to build
good quality products outside of the
USA (we do build some of our products
in Europe and Asia), it can be challenging when the product’s technology is
innovative or complex. Since most of
our premium loudspeakers incorporate
proprietary, patented technologies that
require specific assembly techniques, we
prefer that the people who design them
have close access to the people manufacturing them.
I think you will see JL Audio’s total commitment to performance and quality in
every detail of our products, but most importantly, you will hear it every time you
listen to them.

JL Audio’s commitment to research has resulted in 32 U.S. Patents covering 23 unique loudspeaker and electronics technologies (with several
more currently pending). Most of these patented technologies are already
in use within JL Audio’s product lines and/or licensed by other companies.

What if speaker design compromises could be managed
to create exceptional sound quality and output in very
compact enclosures? This is a question that JL Audio has
been answering since the original W6 subwoofer drivers
were launched in 1993. Built alongside the flagship
W7AE’s in our Miramar, Florida factory, the W6v3 subwoofer drivers share many of the W7AE’s groundbreaking
technologies to keep distortion well below audibility
throughout the driver’s dynamic range. The result is detailed, powerful bass that will please the most demanding
listener.

TW5v2 Thin Subwoofer Drivers
The thinnest subwoofer driver in its class delivers premium JL Audio
performance in difficult spaces.
Our patented thin-line woofer technology compresses the architecture of the TW5v2 models using a “concentric tube” structure that supports
the 17,8 cm diameter voice coil and the suspension attachments. This permits placement of the large motor structure much further forward
in the speaker than with conventional designs, while allowing excellent linear excursion capability and mechanical stability. To unleash even
more performance from this technology, the v2 improves upon the original TW5 woofers with 13% greater linear excursion capability. The cast
alloy chassis has also been modified for greater strength and the redesigned motor now features an annular vent.

TW3 Thin Subwoofer Drivers
Deep, powerful and accurate JL Audio bass is
now possible in more applications than ever.
The TW3 subwoofers offer very shallow mounting depth and operate in very compact enclosures, making them ideal for challenging
installations requiring excellent output and fidelity. Dual voice coil
permits wiring flexibility. Patented Concentric Tube suspension
technology. Building on the core technology of our TW5 thin-line
subwoofers, the new TW3’s deliver a powerful combination of shallow mounting depth and excursion capability. In fact, they are capable of greater excursion than the W3v3.

The TW1 subwoofer drivers offer a powerful combination of shallow mounting depth, minimal frontal clearance and extremely small enclosure
requirements, making them an outstanding choice for tight-space, moderate power applications. JL Audio‘s Patented Concentric Tube suspension technology delivers outstanding excursion capability to extract maximum performance potential. This is accomplished by recessing the

The optimized motor systems and the long linear excursion capability minimize distortion and increase output, while multiple patented technologies enhance performance and reliability. A mineral-filled polypropylene upper cone body with a metallic JL Audio logo medallion provide

The shallow-depth woofer solution.
W1v3 share many features with our premium subwoofers, including our patented Elevated
Frame-Cooling and Floating Cone Attach Method™ technologies. As with JL Audio’s flagship drivers, development for these woofers was guided by JL Audio’s proprietary DMA modeling system
to deliver superior dynamic stability and low distortion within their intended power envelope.
A striking injection-molded, black mica-filled polypropylene cone is finished with an aluminum
dust-cap with JL Audio logo to provide a classy look, while a removable (and customizable)
mounting flange trim ring receives grille-mesh inserts directly, without the need for additional
grille hardware. (Grille mesh inserts are sold separately).

Built from the same DNA as the rest of the JL Audio subwoofer lineup, the WXv2 are centered on a long
excursion, DMA-optimized motor system, supported by our patented Elevated Frame Cooling and a highly linear
suspension. This means they deliver lots of low-distortion, high-quality bass with all types of music. The WXv2 incorporate
a new terminal, a lead-wire system woven into the spider, and a metallic silver frame finish that looks great in any installation.
WX are ideally suited for lower power applications and offer a powerful combination of performance, value and installation attributes.

HX Amplifiers
Whether you’re hitting the open road or tackling the back trails, HX amplifiers are designed to deliver high-performance audio from the smallest of
spaces in your vehicle.
Engineered specifically for powersports applications, the
new HX amplifiers employ our high-speed NexD™ switching design to deliver plenty of clean power, without
straining charging systems. Their tiny, cast aluminum
chassis is highly resistant to corrosion, with an IPX6 waterresistance rating, making it perfect for motorcycles, ATV’s
or other utility vehicles.
Generating a solid 50W x 4 into 4 ohms, the HX280/4 is
fully bridgeable, so it can be used as a 3-channel amplifier,
or as a 2-channel amplifier producing a potent 140W x
2 into 4 ohms. Other features include independent front
and rear crossovers with selectable full-range, high-pass
or low-pass filter controls and a dual-range input section
that accepts a wide range of input voltage levels, from
line-level all the way to high-power speaker level signals.
With a robust 300W of clean power into a 2-ohm load, use
one to drive a subwoofer, or grab a pair to deliver stunning output to a subwoofer system or full-range satellites. The HX300/1 also features an adjustable low-pass
crossover, a bass boost EQ, variable infrasonic filter and
output polarity switch. Its dual-range input section accepts a wide range of input voltage levels, from line-level
all the way to high-power speaker level signals. With the
addition of an RBC-1 remote level control (sold separately), subwoofer output can be directly controlled from
the driver’s seat.

Verbindung mit einem zweiten HX300/1 eine beeindruckende
Ausgangsleistung für ein großes Subwoofer-System oder FullRange-Lautsprechersystem zu liefern. Der Miniamp verfügt
über einen einstellbaren Tiefpassfilter, einen Bass-Boost-EQ
sowie einen variablen Infrasonic Filter und einen Ausgangspolaritätsschalter. Die Dual-Range-Signaleingänge erlauben
den Anschluss an linearer Vorverstärker- oder Hochpegelsignale. Mit der optionalen RBC-1 Basspegel-Fernbedienung
(separat erhältlich), kann der Subwoofer-Pegel direkt vom
Fahrersitz aus gesteuert werden.

TR Component Systems
Unsurpassed value and performance.
The TR-650 system features 16,5 cm component woofers with mineral-filled polypropylene cones, long excursion capabilities and stamped
steel frames. The TR component tweeters are built with 13 mm textile diaphragms that deliver clean response, on and off axis. An inline 12
dB / octave high-pass filter is pre-wired onto the tweeter connection harness, which connects to the woofer terminals, eliminating a bulky
outboard crossover network and simplifying installation. The tweeters of the TR-650 system are also available separately as TR 050-CT, sold as
pair. Inline 6 dB / octave high-pass filters with tweeter protectors are included.

Achieving great sound from your factory stereo has never been easier.
The FiX™ 82 is a state-of-the-art digital signal processor engineered to deliver world-class sound from factory audio systems, without replacing
the OEM source unit. Unlike other OEM interface products, the FiX™ 82 is the first DSP to automatically correct time delayed factory outputs
prior to signal summing and EQ correction. With a powerful 24-bit DSP processor and dual 1/3 octave equalizers onboard, complex 2-way,
3-way and 4-way factory audio outputs are combined and level-matched automatically into a flat, full-range stereo signal. Differential-balanced inputs accept virtually any OEM analog audio signal, from low-voltage, line-level to high-power, amplified speaker-level outputs (up to 30V
RMS). Calibration is initiated with just a single button press and takes only about 30 seconds to complete, with no special equipment needed.
Output options include dual RCA jacks (4V RMS) or a digital optical (Toslink) output, supporting PCM audio (S/PDIF) 24 bit/48 kHz. Activation
methods include 12-volt or automatic (Signal/DC-Offset Sensing), plus a dedicated remote turn-on output is on-hand for controlling your
aftermarket equipment.

Ausgestattet mit einem leistungsfähigen 24-Bit-DSP-Prozessor und einem Dual 1/3 Oktav-Equalizer, ist es möglich komplex modifizierte 2-Wege, 3-Wege oder 4-Wege-Audiosignale zu
summieren um daraus ein lineares Full-Range-Stereosignal zu generieren. Die differential-symmetrischen Eingänge akzeptieren nahezu jedes analoge
Audiosignal einer Werksanlage, angefangen bei Niedrigpegel-Signalen bis hin zu verstärkten Hochpegel-Signalen aus den Lautsprecher-Ausgängen
(bis zu 30 V RMS). Die Kalibrierung erfolgt mit nur einem einzigen Tastendruck und nimmt etwa 30 Sekunden in Anspruch, ohne dass eine spezielle Ausrüstung benötigt wird. Ausgabeoptionen sind zwei Cinch-Buchsen (4V RMS) oder ein digitaler optischer Toslink-Ausgang (PCM-Audio, S / PDIF, 24 Bit /
48 kHz). Das Einschalten des DSP kann entweder per automatischer Signalerkennung oder DC-Offset erfolgen. Das Gerät liefert zudem einen RemoteSteuerausgang für weitere Aftermarket-Geräte.
