Williams-Mystic: Our one-semester undergraduate program combines the academic excellence of Williams College with the coastal and historical setting of Mystic Seaport. Our interdisciplinary courses of literature, history, policy, and science focus on the ocean, and are offered to students of every major. We also travel on field seminars to the Mississippi River Delta, the Pacific Coast, and voyage to sea aboard a tall ship for 11 days. Directions to Williams-Mystic: Mystic Seaport: The Museum of America and the Sea is located on 17 acres and has a staff of about 300 people. Each semester, up to 24 Williams-Mystic students live in 19th-century houses on the museum grounds. Mystic: Our community of about 10,000 residents is spread around the banks of the Mystic River estuary. This body of water divides the towns of Stonington and Groton. From 1-95 take Exit 90 for Rt.27 South. Follow signs to Mystic Seaport. Labaree House, the WilliamsMystic main office, will be on your left, on the corner of Bruggeman Place and one block before the Visitor Reception Center and parking. Williams-Mystic is a 1 hour drive from Providence or Hartford. Amtrak has a station in Mystic. Flights to Boston or Newark can be easily connected to an Amtrak train to Mystic or New London, but check the Amtrak schedule before you buy a plane ticket.
