International youth football tournament held in Easter at the Costa Brava (North East Coast of Spain), which counts on the participation of the best clubs and National teams of the world competing in 5 different age classes. (A-U19; B-U16; C-U14; D-U12 11-a-side; E-U12 7-a-side) The MIC celebrates its 16th edition from the 22nd to the 27th of March 2016 with the same goal since the beginning: Offering any youth football player the chance to meet and compete against the most famous clubs of the World. FOTO Teams arrival date: Official closing date: Tuesday, March the 22nd Sunday, March the 27th The tournament opening will take place on Wednesday, March the 23rd in the morning at the Palamós Municipal Stadium. After the opening ceremony, there will be the opening game. All teams have to attend to the opening. On the 23rd and the 24th the classification round will be played. On the 25th and the 26th the final round and the consolation round will be played. Finals will be played at the Municipal Stadium in Palamós (final round) and in the annexed facilities (consolation round). Saturday the 26th in the afternoon (D ,E, Girls and MIC-Integra) and don Sunday the 27th in the morning (A, B and C) MARCH 2016 MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY SATURDAY SUNDAY *For the teams arriving before or departing after the tournament dates, the Organizers can provide further assistance. - U19 (players born after 01.01.1997) U16 (players born after 01.01.2000) U14 (players born after 01.01.2002) U12 (players born after 01.01.2004) *All teams can register a maximum of 2 players born from 01.07 of the previous age class year. - U12 (players born after 01.01.2004) *All teams can register a maximum of 1 player born from 01.07 of the previous age class year. The MIC - Mediterranean International Cup is organized by AE MICFootball and ruled by FIFA, Spanish Football Federation and Catalan Football Federation rules. Players will have to prove with their in force Federation license, ID card, passport or another official certifying document with the age and picture. Before the tournament kick off, all teams will have to hand in the original list of players signed, confirming that all names, dates and data related with the players is correct, to the organisers. All games will have two halves of 25’ each, with a 3’ rest in between. In the classification round, teams will play in round robin series. Groups will be made of with 4 teams each. Teams classified in the 1st and 2nd group position will go to the final round, whereas teams ending in the 3rd and 4rth group position will go to the consolation round. All the play off and consolation round matches will be played in accordance to the cup system (direct elimination) and will be decided by penalty kicks, according to the FIFA regulations. *The competition system, may vary according to the number of teams participating. Organisers will get in touch with the person in charge of the team. To continue with the registration process. Teams will be officially registered once they have made the first payment of 1.800 € per team / 900 € per team if they participate without ccommodation. This amount will be part of the total amount to pay. This payment must be done as soon as possible as it is the only way to certify the registration. The first 32 teams of each class who will make the transfer will be the ones that will participate. Before January the 10th, 2016: 50% of the total amount has to be transferred Before March the 20th, 2016: the rest of the total amount has to be transferred. One month before the start of the tournament teams will have to inform of the number of participants of the team, send the list of all the participants, inform of the teams arrival and departure information (air company, flight numbers, times of arrival and departure…). *Organisers do not guarantee accommodation and transport after the stated deadlines. IF A TEAM CANCELS PARTICIPATION BEFORE THE 1ST OF JANUARY • The 50% of the team deposit will be returned. If other payments have been done, all this amount will be returned. IF A TEAM CANCELS PARTICIPATION AFTER THE 1ST OF JANUARY • All the deposit will be forfeited. IF A PLAYER CANCELS PARTICIPATION • Before February the 15th: 80% of the amount paid will be returned. • After February the 15th: 20% of the amount paid will be returned. • The same week the tournament starts: all the amount paid will be forfeited. Teams must have all their members covered inside and outside the fields with an insurance. MIC organisers will not take responsibility of any accident that can happen during the tournament or any diseases, robberies, etc. *MIC organisers will offer the possibility of hiring the “24h MIC Insurance” that will have a cost of 10€/person. For further information get in touch with the organisers. ** Teams from Catalunya are sanitary covered for injuries Inside the playing field, as long as they have the federation card in force. ***Teams coming from Spain (those which are not from Catalunya), are covered from any injury suffered inside the playing field, as long as they have the federation license card in force and their territorial area Federation authorization. During the MIC – Mediterranean International Cup history has received the visit of more than 2.500 youth football teams among those we have some top clubs and National selections worldwide. MIC organisers quill also offer the possibility of making sports stays before and/or after the tournament dates. – During the 15years of history, the MIC – Mediterranean International Cup has seen prodigious players that later on would get into professional football standing out in this tournament. Nowadays, most of them are world-renowned top players, playing in 1st division teams in a lot of different countries. Some of that top players have been endorsing the tournament and have good memories of the time when they played and shared good experiences with teams from around the world. MIC organisers will distribute among MIC registered teams, a book of raffle tickets with the aim that every player can pay its tournament participation. FUNCTIONING Only when the team is officially registered, can receive the raffle tickets that will be sent with a unique charge for the shipping. The distribution, arrangements and benefits taken out of the tickets are responsibility and profit for the team. The tickets have a price of 3€. SHIPPING The number of ticket books sent will depend on the type of participation chosen by the team (with accommodation / without accommodation). *The shipping price will depend on the country/city of destination PRIZE IPAD MINI *The prize has a validity of 60 days after the lottery date set.
