FEEDBACK
Your ongoing feedback is always welcome and
appreciated. Our goal is to create programming, policies
and procedures that will be beneficial to you. We can do
that best when you share your ideas with us. Constructive
feedback is always most appreciated and easiest to work
with, of course.
Please know that as we plan events we do consider
dietary needs and restrictions. However, because it is not
possible to meet every need specifically and therefore
someone would likely be left out if we focused our efforts
on adjusting our menus for certain health issues or beliefs,
we make decisions based on what will work for the
majority of residents.
Change in Procedure
Intense Muscle Conditioning:
After a brief warm-up you will be led through
challenging muscle conditioning exercises using
free weights and resistance bands. All of the
muscle groups used in class will be stretched
before class ends.
Please bring hand weights and a resistance band.
Total Body Stretch & Strength:
During this class free weights and exercise bands
are used to build muscle mass and tone
strengthening the bones from the inside out.
Increasing the percentage of one’s muscle mass
also increases one’s metabolism. This class can
be followed either standing near or seated in a
chair. Modifications are demonstrated for
exercises for which they may be appropriate. The
class begins with a brief warm up and ends with a
thorough full body stretch.
Please bring hand weights and a resistance band.
Step Aerobics:
Learn various moves and combinations stepping
up and down on and around an aerobic bench.
This highly aerobic workout begins with a warmup and ends with a cool down and stretch.
Water Aerobics:
Water eases the pressure on one’s joints and
provides resistance for muscle toning as well as
cardiovascular exercise. Exercises are performed
in the shallow and deep end of the pool, although
you may chose to remain in one or the other
throughout the class. During the cooler months
class is held in the indoor pool and when the
weather allows, class moves to the outdoor pool.
5
Yoga for All:
Yoga exercise work towards increasing your
flexibility, balance and strength. This class helps
increase your body awareness and mobility. It is
taught in a way that provides you with the
opportunity to be calm and reflective leading to an
overall sense of well-being. Class begins with a
warm-up to heat the muscles and prepare the
body for stretching and ends with a calming
meditation. Modifications of poses are explained
and demonstrated throughout the class.
Please be sure to bring your yoga mat, yoga
straps, a yoga block and a small pillow.

before the function. Please plan to come by the
Village Center to pick up your table number
between 10 am and 11:30 am. Table numbers
are drawn on a first come first served basis.
One person may pick up the table number for
others sitting at their table. Ten people per table.
You can sit with others you know, or sit with
people you haven’t met. If you can’t make it
between 10 – 11:30am to pick up your table
assignment, and don’t have someone who will do
it for you, we will assign you to a table.
