• Supervise an average of 25 inmates per shift.
• Escort inmates on trips outside the institution (including air and ground transportation), search inmates
and housing areas for contraband, identify security risks and prepare written reports of all incidents.
• Maintain control of assigned areas of responsibility including entrances, exits, visiting room and special
housing unit.
• Operate Control Center including inmate, visitor and equipment monitoring. Train and supervise
lower-grade officers and new personnel.
